1st grow going great... dolomite liime pellets

soouper fellow good guys. my buddy is in his 1st grow and has 3 plants doing great....
heres what he has done,. and there is a point to all this so plz read......
plant#1 equal parts,,, sphagnum, vermiculite , and per... no lime-ttpta; soilless

plant #2 is half scotts 4 mo potting. 1\2 soilless with same portions as above. so 2.5 gal scotts and 2.5 gal soilless- no lime.


plant #3 is total scotts soil with a little extrea , perlite no lime...


they are all ready to flower and all 3 look fab. he has not tested his soil only water. the only problem is a slight browning on the serrades or tips of some leaves... should i add lime ? soilless. 1\2 and 1/2 and the total soil one? any feedback is app.
