1st Grow Don't Know when to start flushing.

Hello, This is my 1st grow, on Friday 4/23 will be 8 weeks of flowering. When should I start to flush. I have 400w HPS with 4 T8 for side, and using DWC. Strain White Widow. Thanks.

looks really good man, i dont do hydro and i dont know how long white widow buds for bud generally 2 weeks before harvest man!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would be ready to flush pretty soon are you using any molasses or sucanat for the flush

Flushing is for soil and only after nutrient burn. Your using Hydroton. Hydroton automatically flushes itself every time its watered. No flushing is required or even recommended for you. If you still really want to flush, just give them 5.6 pH water for a day before you chop them down. Dont flush for a week then post pictures saying "guyz i have to cut my plantz in a day n da leaves are falling off dead".

By the way, post up some pictures of your setup. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the side lights and their benefit vs cost.......

Thanks. No just using Fox Farm nutrients. Does molasses help the flavor?

Thanks for the info! This is my 1st grow so not sure benefit vs. cost but my grow room is real small like 2 1/2 ft wide by 5 ft length so I thought when they started to get bushy the light wouldn't penetrate since they are flush up against the wall so I put in the 4 T8's. Do you think it is a waste to have the side lighting on? I have 2 plants growing currently one WW and one Full Moon.

Grow room pics the one near the t8's is the WW the other is Full Moon.

sucanat and the molasses has a lot of carbs and sugars for your final phase of growing might give your buds a pretty tastse but also makes the buds swell up i prefer the sucanat over the molasses also it organic
