Whats good everybody....been a min but its about time i got this journal started. not much time, details to come as far as nutrients used....ph and ppm reads by the day and all that good stuff that i am still learning....so far so good...had to move a few around that needed to catch up...flowering cycle will start thursday night...here are a few pics too...let me know what you think and any questions are welcome and i will have plenty as the weeks go on....later

A little more info.
Strain = Platinum OG
Days in Veg = 12
Nutrients = Pretty much following the chart that i recieved...with a little modifications that i got from some that have used these boxes time and time again....
Room = stays between 72 and 76
Box = never over 80 so far....
Thats about it so far...but starting thursday i will be putting up nutrients used on a weekly basis and ph and ppm of water...been using ph ice cubes twice a week...dont know if it is helping but those seem to be the days tha ti notice the most growth.....so far so good...not as nervous as i was on Day one....but still keepin a close eye on everything but trying not to over care for them....i get that alot...more to come.....

Hey smacc, I'll be following along! Are your plants clones? What lights did you use for veg?
My plants were hella bigger when I switched to flower, which you can see in my journal. I'm probably going to have height problems, but we'll see. I've seen other growers switch to flower in the producer with plants about the size of yours and they fill out nicely by harvest. I guess it takes a couple cycles and strain familiarity before finding the optimal veg height.

They are clones and believe it or not all that growth is from the 125 cfl light...but yea flowering will begin tomorrow...and i think i got one chocolate thai plant in there it looks totall different from the other ones i will have some more pics up tomorrow....
everything is going great...my camera tripped...out on me so i have not been able to take pictures...but buds are showing changed the res yesterday....i will have some pics up by tomorrow....i think i am goig to run into a room problem too....we will see pics up tomorrow....and nut solution.....

I want to get one of these systems for personal buds. Any problems yet with the drip system? I was looking at getting the DWC
so far no problems with the drip system...only one but its my doing....the panda film that i used to cover the rockwool.....sometimes the water catches on to that...and makes a little puddle...so i have to check that...but box is the shit.....talk to jack he will set u up....

Some of the leaves have this weird discoloration goning on but not to worries about this....does not seem to beaffecting the growth...and i hear alot of people talk about trimming fan leaves...when is it a good time to do this...and if you see the pic that took of the bottom of a plant...should i just cut those leaves off or let it play its own course.......there was also some white residue on a few leaves...wiped it off and i came back on one leaf few days later...its been pretty cold but i been runnin a ac in the day time keeping the room at 72 and below...other then that everything is looking good...oh yea i put filter over my air intake fan ....there was so much dust and dirt going straight in since i have it right next to a window...let me know if there is anything that I coud be doing to make it better...

I don't pretend to be an expert, but a little leaf discoloration is cool. It happens when pH fluctuates (or if your nutes are too high). Just keep testing your pH range and keep it around 5.8, as you know. The new growth will come in green and the plant will continue growing. A few of my leaf sets have a neon greenish discoloration.
From what Ive gathered, if you are going to trim any leaves, start with the bottom ones. However, you want to keep a good number of leaves intact for healthy growth. I'd just trim the fan leaves that are resting on your T-5's and blocking light. I've also trimmed a few leaves on the midway point of the plant to open it up for more light penetration. All that said though, it doesn't look like you need to do much trimming right now. I'd wait.

Im about to put my kids in the hydro18 tub (first grow ever) but i've seen some of the expert guys in the "producer" trim the crap out of the plants where its just buds and a few leaves for counter balance im assuming.
I'll be following along also. My grow wont be as good though because I don't know what's male or female as of yet so I'll have only 10 good ones (hopefully) when its flowering. Thought about buying a hood and throwing it into the closet until they start to flower.
So far so good. Still going strong. I have held off on using co2 to make sure that they dont grow out of control on me. But I will start using it tomorrow...some suggest that you dont use co2 till the third week anyway...but it was just a idea...and i have been paying more attention to my ph and i ice cube the water once a week...sometimes twice...and for the past 3 weeks i have been spraying it with colosal bud blast twice a week....

Yea I will probably be trimming mine in a few weeks...im only in the third week but i have heard that I might finish a little early so we will see...they are all fighting for light but all growing well as of now.....let me know when u start ya journal...

Looks good. Mine were a lot bigger when I finally switched to flower and now Im dealing with the effects of limited space. It helps that I only filled the space to half plant capacity, but things are just very tight. I'm hoping my extra work is rewarded with a bigger yeild. I think I'll do a scrog grow in the Producer next time.
Well still going strong...seem to be getting some nut burn on alot of leaves but everything looks healthy..probably gonna cut back on some nuts next week....I almost feel like i didnt veg long enough...i got a good 12 inches left and they seem to have stopped growing...but who knows...its like waiting for water to boil...lower bud sites looking good...but next time around how to improve...may be to early to tell but thats how im thinkin right now...pic of progress
