[1st Grow]125w CFL Attic/Box Soil Grow

Hi this is my first indoor grow.

To start this grow off i have a Maxibright 125w CFL with the euro reflector, which i do plan on upgrading to a 400w HPS in the next few weeks or so. The space i have chosen to grow in is my attic inside a cabinet/box thing i have built (pictures will be added later today).

The strains i'm growing are:

White Rhino
G-Force
The Kali
Original Afghani #1
Aurora Indica
Auto Blue Mystic

All feminized except the Original Afghani #1. From Pick 'n' Mix Seeds, very good seed bank and speedy delivery


Germinating the seeds went ok, all of them did germinate but one has a redish colour to it now, i'm not too sure about it but it didn't look too healthy

Day 1:

The seedlings go into soil in 5" pots, watered, and put into my box under the CFL.
Lighting will be kept at 24/0 for the first week or two.

EDIT: Heat problems sorted!!

Like i said i will add pictures later today if not then tomorrow morning

Pics added let me know what you think of it, the bed sheets are only temporary lol, will soon be replaced with wood. Also i added an old desk lamp i had to the side of it more for the heat of it than anything else.

Just a quick update, have done some work to my box, still more work to do on it though

I used laminate wood flooring as i have a shed load of the stuff and also im on a tight budget

Well 2 of them have started to grow the Afghani Orginal #1 and The Kali, the aurora is looking very healthy and is about an inch tall, but the kali isnt quite so tall and wasnt getting enough light but have moved it. Will get pictures up later



1st pic is The Kali, 2nd is Afghani and the third pic is of the Aurora Indica, not too sure about what to do to correct this problem, any thoughts people? For now i will leave it a day or two to see if it corrects it self.

i had 2 power cuts tonight, first being an hour long and then about an hour later, had another power cut about half an hour long, and the lights were on whenever there was power, do you think this will stress them at all?

Any help/info would be really appreciated guys

EDIT: ok it dont know if this has caused these 2 plants to mess up, anyone tell me there thoughts on these?

Thanks for taking an interest jr. grower, its just soil straight out the bag, all i could get.

Day 9:

Well by now 1 of the plants has died and another is seriously deformed. So that leaves me with 4 plants.

The 4 remaining plants are all doing very well and are starting to sprout their 3rd set of leaves. The biggest plant is roughly 4 inches tall and the smallest about 2 inches.
