i am super New to growing and to this site so don't hang me for asking this as I am sure there are a thousand posts just like it. Just for a backround I'm 30 years old diagnosed with fucking cancer and I take 1gm of RSO oil a day roughly 1500$ a month for that medicine and yes it works I'm a stage 4 sarcoma fighter a nasty cancer and so far I'm winning thanx to my rick Simpson oil! Anyways I have two kids and not enough inside space and I live in the mountains where temps get into the single digits so I bought a super closet supernova, a lot of people will say you bought an overpriced piece of shit but it was truly my only option to appease my wife lol. So I have 4.5 wide 6.5 tall and 2.5 feet deep to grow, I currently have 7 going now they are all about 1 foot high 7-8 nodes. I have had them vegging for about 2 weeks. I have some Tahoe OG, GSC, master mush and gorilla glue #4 . When do you guys think I should go into my 12/12 flower cycle with my kind LED 750? So I don't over run my space ? Thank you all for the help!!!!

Hey Norty welcome to our little nut house. Sorry to hear about your cancer.
I don't grow in a tent, nor do I use a LED, but I did want to mention that most of my plants mature at 10/12 nodes ( from seed ). Best of luck to you.

Bummer about the cancer and sure hope you beat it.

What does that thing use for overhead light? Is that the LED?

I would be topping those plants now and flowering in a couple weeks. The net is too low as well and if you're not going to ScroG on the net it'll have to go up another foot at least once the buds start getting bigger.

If you do ScroG then you don't want to start flowering until you get the net 3/4 full of tied down branches which will take an extra month or more of vegging. You'll more than double your yield with a ScroG.

Good luck with the growing and the reason for growing!

Thank you for the advice!!!! I just topped them the day before yesterday. Those are t-5 lights, I have a kind LED 750 and ill-switch that out as soon as I decide to flower.

I would imagine those plants 3x taller and wider; from looking that cabinet up on their website and your pictures it is going to be a jungle. Might just want to flip them now and see how it goes, I can fill a 4x4x6.5 tent with 3 plants. Every grow I start worrying about how much distance I have between the tent top and the canopy. Healing and harmony to you.

I agree with you it's going to get interesting.... I was thinking of buying a separate tent not cabinet just for flowering. I could of fit 12 in there and think I only did 7 for space reasons but I think if I just stick with this system I'll try 4 or 6 depending on how it goes. Do you know of any good tents not too big or expensive. I already have the lights I would just need ventilation and a hydro system. I think going with a separate flower tent would be optimal!

I'm truly impressed with the immediate help and knowledge and the kindness. Thank you all! I appreciate the constructive criticism and advice. Keep them coming! Usually blogs have a bunch of trolls in which I haven't found here. Bad ass!!!

Also should I wait a few days since I just topped them? Maybe some recover time?

I researched a lot of different grow tents, ended up ordering a Homebox Evolution Q120 from Germany. They really aren't that expensive compared to the quality, the shipping was a bit but I have been totally satisfied with it. If you topped them I guess you do have to wait for the secondary growth to form the colas, not the expert here as I try to let my plants grow naturally.

How do you think my plants will turn out? The tallest one is about 14" and the shortest is about 10". I want to top the tall ones to even the canopy but I'm not experienced! My plants are thriving and growing rapidly and starting to smell nice so I think I'm doing a good job. One thing I don't know how to do is drop the humidity, it just snowed about 2 feet here and the outside humidity is about 65% so I don't know if that will cause problems? Please let me know ASAP I have my water ready to go for the switch to flowering. Thank you very much!
