1lb bud into green dragon oil?

Wana turn 1lb of bud into green dragon but I want it super concentrated like tar I’ll be useing everclear 190 proof and my new nova ardent fx .... I know I’ll have to simmer it after I add the decarboxalated bud to the ever clear but I’ll have to simmer it at 170-180f for 8 hrs will that ruin my thc?

Buddernugs an easier way is to use a Magical Butter Machine, which has a tincture setting and will do most of the work and all of the thinking for you.

Your Nova is still indespensable, but not for making green dragon.

The nova only decarbs about 20 gram loads.

Are you wanting to summer it to reduce the mixture and concentrate it? If you keep the temps low it won’t hurt the THC.

How are you planning on consuming this?

Green dragon is usually kept as a liquid to consume as a tincture or in a drink. Thickening it to a “tar” viscosity would make that hard.

If you are wanting to smoke the concentrate you should look into qwet or qwiso. There is a tutorial in my sig line at the bottom of my post.
 
So I figured I’d just add the green dragon tar to the recipe so it will be mixed up with the sucker and gummy Recipe so it’ll be easier to work with
 
You'd be better off making a nice concentrate and then just dissolving that into a small amount of alcohol to add to the recipe. Usually when I make candy I mix 1-2g of extract with about 1-2 tablespoons of alcohol and add that to the hot sugar mix. The alcohol evaporates off and leaves the oil nicely mixed into the candy.
 
Don’t wana make anything that I have to mess with the bud I chopped a whole crop 2 weeks early becuase I was Grey mold on some of the buds.... really don’t wana dry sift of any thing Grey mold doesn’t produce mycotoxins but it’s still not good for you luckily anything over 130 kills it also the alcohol And 180f summer is a triple fail safe
 
Be careful simmering everclear. The vapors are highly combustible. Don’t accidentally blow your house up by doing any of this near an open flame. Also, look into canna sugar. I’ve used canna sugar and tincture together to make hella strong gummies.
 
Iv made this several times before on a electric hot plate next to an 8in I power fan filter combo to help dissipate fumes and smell....,Canna suger you say??? Double dose of the good stuff
