Right now, my plants are under a 19/5 light schedule and in veg. are there any benefits as far as growth speed to 24/0?

mine are on 24/7 they grow faster i think try it only way to find out

The decision between 24/0 and 18/6 is really iffy. There are many rumors about faster growth with 24/0, but also many people believe that 24/0 cause hermies. As far as I can tell, no one has a damned clue, so do whatever you want. My personal opinion is 18/6 just because it seems so unnatural to have 24/0. I'd always rather stay closer to what nature does.

I read somewhere that 24/0 your plants strech more than 18/6 and with
the 18/6 the nodes are closer to each other, hope that helps ive never gone

I only use 24 hours on now for my vegging plants. I have done both over the years and see about a 25% speed increase in growth and at least 20% thicker root structure with 24 hour light. I get less stretch with tigher nodes and larger fan leaves.You are the first I have seen running a 19/5 light time though
