can I leave my autos in these until they sex? Or will they be too big by that time? And will I have stunted the roots and/or growth of the plants?

really?

so 2 liter bottles would be plenty then, right?

anyone else care to chime in?

I feel like some people recommend I go bigger than 1 gallon pots. Are there any grow journals depicting this, either way?

I would reccomend using a bigger containers, but u can grow a huge plant in a coffee can, usually better to give roots more space tho

The more roots, the bigger the plant.
You can pull off a nice grow in party cups, but it will only get so big, for an auto I'd give her an gal pot or more if you want.....

you see, I'm torn. I really want to get the most out of my grows. But, I'm not sure if it would be more beneficial to go with smaller pots (2 liter) to fit a few extra plants, or to use bigger (1 gallon) pots and fit a few less.

if I use 2L bottles, I can fit waves of 9 with plenty of breathing room. But if I use 1G pots I can only do waves of 6.

I'm using foxfarm liquid soil nutrients (all 3) and Ffof soil.

what do you think will give me a better yield?

oh, and by the way, I was just going to sex them in the party cups since I'll be sprouting appx 25 seedlings at a time. I'll need the room in my space.

thanks man... I'll move some stuff around I'm my "area".

what would you be expecting for yield under 550w? Just a ballpark estimate, I know it will have alot to do with how good I do. Could I expect 3-4oz?

that's awesome! If I had more space (hypothetically) how many females could I have under those lights and still get a yield like that?

Under my 400 I have 3-8 plants. It really depends on the veg time tho, n how big u want them to be when finished, running out of room and cramming is always a bitch tho.

gonna go with the waves of 4-6. That's pretty much what I've been planning to do anyway. Thanks for the help everyone.

okay... So I realize that I CAN sprout/sex in the 16oz cups, but do I risk stunting the plants growth? Am I risking becoming rootbound?
I could really use the extra space that I would gain by using the cups, but I ABSOLUTELY do not want to risk decreasing the potential size of my plants. Meaning, that I would start in their final 1g pots if I had to.

can somebody with some autoflower experience give me some input?
I'd really appreciate it.

man waiting for seeds is a bitch when you have everything else set up. It's making me constantly question everything... I just need for my seeds to get here so I can get this shit going.
