I found a 16 watt CFL spiral bulb laying around I was wondering is it ok to use ? I figured it would be better than a 19 watt florescent light . Ok their both wrong but I'm a broke ass lol

yeah id advise against it i barely get any pull out of my 19 watt i just threw it in like MAYBE it will give a little light to tiny seeds

I'm just using what I can till I can get the funds . I take her out side from about 10am-6pm high 90s with high humidity in the shade so she don't get sunburn, then bring her in under the light . Repeat.

If you want to use cfl get 40w and above and some fixtures that hold four bulbs at once cause you will need alot of them a lot seriously

23, 26 watt work fine! obviously the higher the better but 23 watt lights give out a really good light to temp output

To each their own, and i know that feeling of wanting to just grow, but you will be way more happier if you have the gear before you start growing, but since you already have them growing do what you can its a great learning experience regaurdless. GL mang

Hit up craigslist, i bought a 400 watt MH all in one ballast setup that they use for football games in stadiums for 40 bucks.

if you are just vegging the plant it will do it.... not well but it will do it. I veg with 2 26w cfls and I grow monsters

Cfl's are cool bulbs whether they be 23,26, or 40 watt and above and with these you can damn near put them on the plant which means what your vegging plants can grow till they touch then re adjust but yes craigslist always growers getting new equip and looking to pass on help to other growers the best of luck my friend and mad props to your crops
