what do you guys think the yield should be if someone did a room 6x8x7h with 3 x1000 watt hps 18 plants in 15 inch pots with soil, 10 inch exhaust and 2 four inch intakes one with fresh air from outside?????????????????????

Enough to go to jail for a VERY long time. But at least enough to be able to smoke a few bowls an hour for many many months. But seriously, way too vague to answer accurately. If you have a plant that will yield an average of 300-350gr per plant (wet), you can figure on 1 to 1 1/2 oz per plant dried & cured. But still very vague: how tall will you let them grow, how much topping will you do, type of nutes and frequency of use, changing light spectrum from veg stage to flower stage, training and tying.....etc. etc. etc. Good luck

Somewhere between, about 6 1/2 lbs. and nothing! That leaves a pretty wide spread. Somebody could kill all their plants before harvast, or pull in a maximum yield.
What it really comes down to is a combination of several things:
1. Experience.
2. Knowledge.
3. Technique (the ability to apply #1 & #2).
4. Budget (the ability to provide the proper equiptment and supplies in adequate amounts).
5. Dumb Luck (even someone who doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground, might do everything right by accident!).

thanks guys for response your right way to vague.... i say pound a 1000 watt light is a rule of thumb around here just wondering what kind of yeilds other people are getting ??????? do you guys think if you had 6 plants under 1x 1000 watt light you would get the same yield as if you say have 10 what i am getting at is that it matters how many watts not how many plants what do you guys think?????????
