Starting this grow very soon, in a small closet for personal medical use only Some request for pointers at the bottom, mostly need some good advice on what organic nutes to feed the plants during flowering stage Shopping took a long ass time, had to go to quite a few places to pick everything up, so I\\\'m hoping I\\\'m good for a while.
materials:
[Experimental] germ and cloning hot house w/ heat mat+thermometerr
Two grow tents (grow space: 24wx24lx42/54h (42 for veg and cloning, 54 for flowering) home made
4x80cfm fans (1 in/1 out for each tent... may need more)
Lighting: seedling/clone T5 grow light
1x55watt/112x.5w LED board for vegging/mothers (blue: 460-470nm, red:640-650nm)
2-4x23watt supplemental CFL for vegging/mothers
1x150watt HPS built in ballast with venting reflector hood for flowering
Soil: coco base, hummus, mych+beneficial bacteria, worm castings... bottom \'super soil\' layer with indonesian bat guano
Nutes: indo bat guano (high P), short veg so worm castings should take care of N
Genetics:Assorted seeds collected from good nugs (just to start, good genetics on the way)
Pots: 16oz/4\\" Solo Cups (until I can build my own or buy 4 square pots) for most growth, a few 3-gallon pots for mothers or whatever I can find that they will fit in around this size.)
Electrical: 2x timers, best socket I could find (total wattage with lights, fans, heat mat would max out at 500-600watts when everything\\\'s turned on, and there\\\'s hardly anything else on this circuit) with new surge protectors (14 gauge)
Plan of action (Sea of Green):
1) germinate 10 or so seeds
2) take clones of each as soon as possible to determine plant sex
3) Keep 3-4 good females if possible and optionally one male, kill male if it autoflowers
4) Flower any other females and female clones
5) Take 4-5 (alternating) clones of the best female every week
6) clone/root for two weeks and veg for one week, then flower
7) assuming 8 week flower period, at any one time there will be up to 36 solo cups into my
flowering area (just over 2ftx2ft), these plants are meant to flower one main cola and be true sea of green style. **hopefully**
8 ) Harvest the 4-5 plants which are ready every week. The goal is 4-5 grams per plant, which would come out to the 1g/watt per 8 week flower period rule of thumb but I have heard rumors of 7g+ plants being grown in solo cups after a week of veg. That would obviously kick ass
There are a few blanks that I need to fill, hopefully some of you guys can advise: whether or not solo cups are suitable pots for this scale, whether or not the LED light with supplemental CFL will be enough to keep mothers alive (it should suffice to veg rooted clones for a week)
