14 watt 5000k LED question.

This is a normal bulb for home use. I built a little grow chamber for one very special and rare sprouted seed. This bulb gives off no heat. Is one inch away too close? I know seedlings prefer a higher kelvin rating but i have no experience with LED's. I don't want to run a 4 foot t-5 fixture for 1 seedling.

14 watts will be useful for about a week... Then it's going to need more light
