14+ hour light cycle on pepper plants prevent flowering?

so I was thinking the other day that just like how veg marijuana and how using 14 or 16+ hour light cycles prevents the plants from flowering.. does this law also work with pepper plants? if i have pepper plants inside under a 20h light 4hr darkness will it prevent the pepper plants from producing buds? if this is true im going to start ALL my pepper plants inside and veg them under 20-24 hour light cycles and beast mode them before i put outside to start producing!! anyone know about this?

Tomatoes don't care...peppers i'm not sure of. I ran 18/6 on my tomatoes and had a massive plant with veggies. So big I tossed it because it wasn't manageable.

you should try and do a pepper plant on 24 hour fluorescant only blue spectrum!! i really wanna know if this will keep the plant from flowering
