14/10 Veg light cycle??

14 hours of light, 10 dark. Reading the bible for a while Its telling me less hours of light will increase chances of a female plant (random seeds im using). So Im giving it a shot; 14 hours of light makes sense in nature because thats about all the sunlight I get around here, then it gets dark fast. I dont know what strain it is, but thought id give it a chance since i have so many seeds.

Any input? Flame suit on.

Never heard of that with the light, I have heard enviroment can have an impact and I've found it to be true. Keeping them happy (low stress) should help. Have fun though, my first grow came from some shit bud and gave me some fire nuts with some purple.

That would also use less energy so I'm very interested in this idea...

It has been some odd weeks, maybe 1 1/2 not that long, i been using a 150cfl and 2 100watt cfl (different kelvin), ill snap some pics and keep ya guys updated
