12week flowering sativa looking strange...

Hi all,

this plant is in wk12 of flowering (12.30/11.30)

the buds hairs were brown until about a week ago, and it now looks as though its developing many new buds with white hairs...



any ideas?

im feedin it biobizz grow and bloom. (1ml and 2 ml respectively)

Looks good to me, I would guess another 4. You're going to have some trippy smoke on your hands, nice work :weed:
 
hahah wow, i've never grown sativa's indoor, they take ageeess compared to indicas. i guess i've got a wile to go but yes if that's the case its looking like good fruit...

the only issue im concerned with is the fact that the girl is still growing and its already very very close to the lights...hsould i stop feeding it grow and just up the bloom?

wow 12 weeks old really..looks like you got like 3 more to go...add more light doesnt look bad just taking it time
 
see thats one of the reasons i dont fuck with sativas
 
Do not stop using you veg nutes, I made that mistake and had to start adding them again because of yellowing leaves.. You are going to need those healthy leaves during the last few weeks of your grow.. You should see a big increase in size of the buds soon... Nice job so far.. PEACE

now thats just poor advice... i hope you would have stopped veg nutes long ago
 
any more opinions? i keep reading both sides to the story everywhere and actually finding out once and for all the right way would be good.

a few forums even said to turn to 2ml grow and 1ml flowering as soon as hairs turn brown..?!?!?


im still feeding grow so not really sure if to continue or not as you both seem to have opposite opinions...

i think you should be flushing now untill the end.
 
you should be feeding it aggressively with bloom nutes in the later flowering weeks of its cycle

i would still be just giving a tad of nitrogen IF you see yellowing of the leaves but if not i would stop using it.

just listen to the plant and everything will turn out fine

but yea this is the reason i do not like sativas

you could have already harvested some indicas, and vegged another batch and be ready to flower some more.

looks healthy btw
 
it dont need veg nutes this far into flowering man. it should have enough stored in the leaves for the final faze. just flush for the next 3 weeks man
 
so ok its logical that i dont use grow nutes unless i see sporadic yellowing... but im still not convinced on whether to bomb with organic bloom nutes or to just flush the rest of this time?
 
no theres no fan leaves left on the plant..just a load of tiny leaves looking very waxy/shiny and dark green

look MAN DONT USE VEG NUTES NOW PERIOD!!! there gonna yellow late into flowering cuzz thats what they do man. the buds are sucking up the nutes from the fan leaves. man dont listen to dude man. im sorry i been tryna be polite. either feed on more time with flower nutes and then flush the rest, or just now flush the rest of the way...... you got around 3 weeks left i would think. that would be a good flush, you may not even need to cure at that point man. just dry and let the chloraphyll evaporate.
 
one more big dose of bloom nutes to carry it and help swell those buds up for the last 3 weeks of its life would be good

if your planning on flushing for two weeks that is
 
I would still be giving it flowering nutes for a couple more weeks then flush for a couple.. My buddy keeps an 18 weeker going at all times for his head stash. No amount of indica or hybrids will ever trip me up as much as that smoke. If I had the light and space I would definitely keep a landrace sativa around. Well worth the time in my opinion
