with that philosophy...if it says 50-60 days flowering, they should be ready for harvest in 50-60 days. I grow Nirvana's Ice...and the shorter flowering phenotype takes 11 weeks from the time I switch to 12/12. The other takes a week longer. Nirvana's website says 8-10 weeks. Just about every strain I have grown, takes longer than the advertised time...I always assumed they meant from the time the plant showed sex.

Well most of the harvest and yield estimates are under perfect conditions, most of us can't get the temps, humidity, CO2, and what not exactly perfect like their super expensive set ups. Then there are the seed banks that tell you everything finishes in 8 weeks just to get you to buy it.

You start counting the flowering days when you start the 12/12 cycle, but you may not see proof of flowering for a couple weeks at most. To shorten this wait, you should have a timer to turn the lights on and off at the same exact time every day. Also make sure during the dark period that there is NO light at all going in the grow room.
