12/12 question

I have 4 babies that just grew their first set of leaves, I have them indoor in a closet with a 150-watt, 16,000 lumen HPS sun system...
aluminum foil and cardboard for reflection.

Anyways I've heard about 12/12 from seed and I was just wondering I would like to flower these as SOON as I can because time and space may both be issues, but I want to get at least 2+ oz out of the 4 plants.

Can I flower them now? I heard you have to wait until the first alternating node grows. Also, does it ever need nitrogen if I start flowering it, or should I just put in phos?

Thanks in advanced for any help!

well...........you still got a long time till, you're ready to flower, but to answer your questions.............you use 12/12 for flowering only, veggin and seedlings, you need 24/h, yea and wait for about 4-5 alternating nodes.
for nutes, high phos and low nitro

Okay I'm aware how to grow normally

I've heard, in this same forum, about going 12/12 from a seed or a clone. That's what I'm talking about.

Anyone else? Please?

YES, you can go 12/12 from seed. Many people (teens living with their parents) do this. If you put your plants in flower right now, i seriously doubt you will get 2 ounces between the 4, even assuming all 4 become females.

If you want 2 ounces, let your plants grow bigger first. Just remember, during flowering, you plants on average will grow 2-3 times their size. You know you growing space/time constraints. Judge accordingly.

Just a tip bro ditch the tin foil and spring the extra cash for some mylar or panda film. The tin foil can create hot spots and burn your plants where mylar will not do this.

As far as flowering goes, I waited till one of my girls was 15 inches, the other 27 inches... The one is now 43 inches, and the other has just hit 63 inches with multiple nodes and they have only been flowering for 2 weeks. I vegged mine for 2 months and put them into 12/12 when they looked nice and full, they are beautiful now! :leaf:
