whats up dude! i planted some good seeds 34 days ago. indica dominant, and they are 18" tall. im in illinois. i have no preflowers yet, but i will be looking everyday! plants are beyond healthy, straight organic. the only thing is im trying to find some natural sources of phosphorus for when/if they bloom. i heard banana peels and nuts and what not. im making a seperate compost tea, just for flowering. but ya it can be done, as for the yield, i have no idea, i just hope i can pull some small dense nugs off in em in time! i have checked the forecast for my area and i have lots of great weather even in late october! did you have some seedlings growing? or maybe a clone? if you do good luck man!

Yea ive got some (7) bagseed I started about 2 weeks ago, not quite 12-12 yet but getting close. I figured why not try and throw a bunch in soil and see what happens lol Good luck with your grow. Follow the link that direwolf71 provided and should be able to get a rough idea about yield. Of course it will vary due to living conditions, strain etc.. Thats what im doing now trying to get more info. A 12-12 from seed outdoor thread would be nice to have or start. Again good luck dude.
thanks dude! i read almost all 60 something pages a few weeks ago of that thread. highly informative read. but he grows indoors, which i don't plan doing till october. i have my main outdoor door crop spread out, in ground. my side plants i started a month ago are each in there own 5 gallon containers. my soil is native soil, mixed with some MG soil. i added some more perlite to make it a little more airy. my soil on my property is extremely fertile, thats why i mixed some in. feeding them coffee grinds and compost tea. they are lookin lovely so far!

Last year the wifey germed some seeds in the middle of july and by mid september they were just showing pre flowers. Thats way too late in my neck of the woods so we brought them in to finish under floros and cfl's. The same strain this year germed in may and are in full flower now and there is still 13.5hrs of daylight here. Our auto white widow is doing great and its 5 wks old.
So i wonder if some strains need or like to mature a bit before the start flower. Good luck and be sure to post your results

A plant from seed needs time to mature before it will flower regardless of the light schedule...when I say mature I mean staggered nodes.....now if you were starting with a clone that was takin off of a mature plant it will flower as soon as the light dictates

Down here in the tropical wonderlands of Latin America, we get about 12/12 give or take (depending on the month it may vary for about 1 or 2 hours), pretty much all year round.
I started around mid June, and they're pretty big by now. Only has preflowers, but nights are about to get longer, so I'm expecting all to get 'em soon.
DrGreenthumb333 is right too, plants need to reach a certain maturity point before getting to flower, starting from seed. One has to keep in mind that not only each plant takes it's own time to vegetate and flower, but that they also endure climatic changes differently from each other. With a little cold some plants might get an awesome shade of purple, while some other might get freeze burns.
