I have heard 12/12 light cycle is the way to go for flowering , due to my work schedule and only having one light with vegging and flowering plants under it im kinda stumped. I was wounder if doing like 16 off 8 on , or 14 off 10 on would due . My plan is to leave the Vegging plants under my 400 watt , while i pull the flowering plants and put into a dark space i have set up.

:joint:ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT :joint:

nope you need 12/12 at least to force the plant into full flower or you can increase hermies and slow any flower production to a crawl. You nned 2 places a veg and flower spot.Get a few 4 foot slorescent shop lights and you can veg under them.Get 4 of them anout $7 a piece and you can do a dozen fairly good sized vegged plants til ready to flower

This is going to turn into a bit of a nightmare. Flowering plants are much bigger than vegging ones. For 12 hours your vegging plants are going to be too farfrom the lights... which will encourage them to stretch.

Timers, plywood. I had box off a corner of my room for vegging. since plants=small when veggin.

I just put a $5 floro in there and my cuttings/bigger ones are doing great. yup.

threw the $10 timer on my big setup and its fine. all in all, it took alot of shitty thought. and 1 prior grow to realize.

you do what you gotta do :(

ps i did what you are doing, with a whole "flower box"

it got annoying at the end lol

i Have a 6 fott lamp with 3 florescents bulbs over my work bench , could i use this for vegging ? and then block off my 400 watt so the shop lamp wont hit the other plants while lfowering?
