Hi just a quick question from the 12/12 growers

If my seedlings are a week old and I switch over to 12/12 would I still have to wait a week for it to engage into flowering or is it still young enough to not make a difference?

The plants are all currently on their 2nd node

They seem pretty happy. Prob going to have a root problem don't mind feeding them a few times per day or drip feeding from a reservoir IMG-20200504-WA0008.jpeg

You should disguise yourself better brother. Remove the picture including the reciept :) And I'm new as well but why would you put 7 seeds in a small pot like that?

When growing plants on a 12/12 light cycle from seed they won't start flowering until they are mature enough to flower. So you won't be seeing anything for a while. I would also reiterate SweOps comment, best to stick to one plant per pot, especially if you don't know the gender. The roots will intertwine and there's no way to remove a plant other than cutting it down.

They wont start to flower until they are ready and they wont be much if any smaller than autoflowers at that point, but because they dont get as much light, they dont grow as well as autoflowers 18/6 lights all the time.

Why not just use autoflowers if you want something that starts to grow as soon as possible?

Your going to have major problems with all those plants in 1 container.

But to answer your question, the plant will not flower until its sexually mature.
