12/12 from seed flowering question

Started my seeds about a month ago. 2 seeds - 2 sprouts just showed pistils on both plants!

So when do I consider day 1 of flowering? 1 set of pistis? 10? It's been 6 days now and almost all of my tops (doing lst) are showing pistils) I think it doesn't really matter of o know what day 1 is because I'll harvest when they " look" done anyway. Just looking for opinions.

Specs on grow: 4x 26w cfl in a pc grow case. 1 bag seed and 1 satellite Cindy.

Like you said, it doesn't matter. I count from the day I flip the lights.

If you started them at 12/12 then you flowered from seed (not a great method imo). Just my opinion but even twenty day veg with increase yield significantly. I've been quite dissapionted the few times I did it. Auto's will yield more I think.

Heres a auto i'm growing now, Royal Dwarf, they aren't bad really, fast bud, this one is on day 35, pre flowering.

some people say they get several zips this way and faster then waiting I guess it really depends you might need a certain strain and certain conditions but I myself am sick of waiting 4 months. however the one in the pic don't look that big at all I cant really see that producing much bud

Into 3rd weeks an no sign of pistils startin

if 12/12 from seed i'd consider it when you see the pistils b/c it takes about 3wks for the plant to mature anyways..thats what i do on mine..im growing about 5 like that...this method is really only good if you have many plants in a small space and dont have room for the growth that vegging the plant would bring b/c it decreases yield greatly..its easier for me bc i have a small closet grow, to grow 10 plants 12/12 and get the same amount as if i did a regular veg for a mnth on 2 plants that would take up more space...just from my exp. so far

I count flowering start after its done stretching. I think that's the best way. If you count from light flip and its not sexually mature (showing pistils) its going to force it into sexual maturity but that can take 7-10 days (ish). After stretch its usually pretty close to the breeders flowering timelines.

If see them weeks 5/6 then do the boost fast as there meant to be 9 weeks finishs so the last 4/3 weeks worth the wait

4 months! What strain are you doing to wait that long? I typically veg 3 weeks and flower for 8-10 weeks with most. But yup strain dependant for sure

yea it took the bag seed 4 weeks to show pistils, it was much bushier than the satellite cindy i also have growing which showed pistils at 3 weeks. reason im doing 12/12 from seed is because i am limited on space. It actually turned out quite well although I am already planning on a bigger grow box.
