12/12 and NOT Drinking?

Hey everyone,
I currently have a bubbleponics system going with two huge plants from seed and 3 small clones. I just switched the light on the night of Oct. 19th. Reservoir was changed to bloom nutes as well. Its been two days now and the plants haven't drank anything? I have a organic hydroponic nute in the reservoir and its so dark I can't test the ph with the drop kit. The plants look fine with some slight deficiencies, but overall they look fine. I was just wondering if them not drinking is normal or a problem when you switch the lights?

Your plants are just in shock right now. By going 12/12 you triggered the end of their life cycle so they stop for time to transfer all their internal energy before they take on new energy(nutes/water). Start to worry if thier not drinking by day 4 or 5. Listen to your plants they know what there doing, hope this helped!

any of you guys go 36 of dark right before flipping them to 12/12 to help speed the transition period up?

No, I go straight from 24/0 to 12/12 with no delay. I do, however, wait 2-3 days before I change to flowering nutes. That causes less shock and gives them time to transition before I hit them with flowering nutes.

not drinking is normal after the switch, but not knowing if your good on your ph is not!!!! switch to a nute that will allow you to use your ph kit or upgrade your ph equipment!
if your ph is off you will not drink regardless of light schedule

Well the nutes I am using supposedly balance the ph themselves. I haven't had any problems yet so we'll see. And thank you everybody for your responses. My plants are stretching and gulpin up water again.
