12/12=->18/6

Question: I have 12 Sour Diesel seedlings almost all 9 days old from see going 12/12 since day 1, would it reacts bad if I switched to 18/6 lighting schedule to switch from 12/12 to vegging than flowering?


Would it be more be better than going 12/12, using a 400w hps bulb, I only have HPS can I still veg with it?

Are they feminized? Nine plants work great under a 400 HPS and should allow you several weeks of veg time at least. If they're not feminized, the fewer plants you have to flower, the longer they can veg.

Yes, you can switch back to veg with little or no ill effects. They're not big enough to notice any ill effects of the switch back. If you do resume veg, give them a couple weeks before going back to flower.

Springtime naturally dishes out 12/12ish of sunlight, it's exactly 12/12 on spring equinox,march 21st. So the herb has been growing like this for 1000's of years.

Thanks for your replys guys if I were to get legitimately would I switch to 24/0 or 18/6 which is do you prefer and why ?

18/6 for me. Never 24/0...my girls need their beauty sleep!
