this is my first grow took a month to build it ,6oo hundred dollars later it became the box that is what i like to call it i decided to do auto flowers because of the space any questions let me know and i will try and answer to the best of my ability :lol:

This is ridiculous. Just get an aircooled 1000 watt HPS. You will get 4X bigger buds and much less heat with much less noise.

Are you sure your adding the bulbs real wattage instead of its equivalent wattage? I can see in the pic that it says they are 23watt bulbs... anyways I find your grow box interesting. Good Luck with your grow, sub'd! :leaf:

Hey I am the guy who helped build the box. As for the 1000 watt hps the issue is that it has to be far enough away from the plants to prevent burning. With the cfls we can have them much closer and also surrounding the plants instead of just having light from the top. Also since we only have around 12" in grow height a 1000 watt would not be effecient height wise.

Ya He was talking about equivelent wattage not actual. Actual wattage is 253 watts.

Sub'd! I am doin a similir grow with 12 27 watt cfls that is making around the same lumen output as yours! I am doing mine in a dresser thats about 3.5 ft tall tho. Cant wait to see some buds! Keep up the good work
