This is not unusual. Plants that are fed heavily will grow leaves with additional leaflets. Sometimes 15 leaflets are not uncommon.

This topic pops up several times a year. Seems some folks get excited when their girls develop more than the "usual" 7/9/11 leaflets.
And I can understand that such a discovery would cause one to believe they have something "special". However, I have not heard of any advantage other than it being a better "solar panel", due to increased surface area. Other than that, not much bragging rights.
