What would you realistically expect from 100w per plant in a coco set up in 3 gal pots?
done this before???
There gonna be in a 1 metre square space, White reflective. Not sure of lumens coz to be honest I haven't woked it out yet, Just trying to get some feedback from people on methods. If I get .7 dry bud per watt I'd be a very happy man, that's some going Gary good work mate. Do u need me asking your prefered method I.e soil or hydro?
Well I'm aiming for around 10oz dry and figured this method could work from what I've experienced from previous. Never tried the coco though I've always used soil so can't wait to get my head into learning about this medium!
My favourite strain from what I've tried has to be the simple but effective lemon haze, for flavour, density, smell, effect it has the be one of the best strains in the world.
Definitely not a question you'd hear from an experienced grower. But, if you don't ask, you'll never know.
Too bad he asked something no one will have a definitive answer to. Other than .2 gpw - 1 gpw?
I get about .7 grams per watt on average. Less when I first started. More when I use high yielding strains.
Too many variables...
A 600 watt HPS is usually around 95000 lumens, so almost 160 lumens per watt.
You could expect anywhere from 1/4 LB, and as much as 1 1/2 LB. Cheese is usually a decent yielding strain.
I've smoked OG Kush, but have never grown it. It is pretty decent, but there are plenty others I like better.
see this guy knows did u see the other dude???? he reckons he gets 7grams per watt PMSL

Nicely put Gary! It's just one of those situations where there are indeed too many variables that all play a role/part in the outcome.
You get around .7g/per watt? Not too bad I suppose. I'm ranging right around .6g/per watt with my current setup. That's with just one 150watt HPS lamp.. and then I have a total of 6 (3 per side) high-wattage CFL bulbs that I use for side/lower lighting areas on the plant(s).
All together, with the HPS (+) all 6 of the CFL bulbs... I'm running right at 750 watts of light.
As far as lumens go? I know that my HPS lamp with the particular bulb I run in it, Its supposively putting out 16,500 lumens. Now, if I were to guess, I would say each one of my CFL bulbs is probably rated at (I don't have the box for one around..) - ah, alright.. according to 'Google', my 150watt CFL bulbs produce precisely 3,000k worth of lumens each. So, I've got 6 of them.. so 6 (x) 3k = 18,000k [lumens]. So, then I take that total, and add it to the lumen output of my HPS lamp.. and I get a total lumen output.. of exactly 34,000k lumens with CFL/HPS combined.
Not too shabby IMO.. besides, I never grow more than two plants per grow anyhow. I don't deal/sell what I grow... I only smoke it when I really need it. I don't really smoke just for shits and giggles. Well, that's not entirely true either.. I'll smoke occasionally on the weekend, just to relax and chill during the weekend. Take this holiday weekend for example.. or hell, even better yet.. take right now for example.. I'm smoking right now.![]()
But anyhow, yeah.... I don't even really smoke out with anyone any more either. All my friends "grew up" so to speak.. except me I guess. It's almost like I'm frozen in time, you know what I mean? It's hard to explain how it feels really. I graduated high school back in 2000 (The Millennium Graduating Class of 2000! - hehehehe) and man... I was having some day dreams earlier today, thinking about my high school days. I started to realize that I took many of those days for granted.. when I really shouldn't have. I also started remember how young I was back then.. how young and kinda innocent I was you know? It's like.. now that I'm 29 years old.. and will be turning over to the big scary "30" this coming February 2012... its like, I take time each day to just slow down and look back on my life.. and its like I look back, and realize how old I am now.. and I find myself asking myself the same question each time I do it. I seem to ask the question of "Wow, where did all these years go?!?!"; "What did I do during that certain year? What was I doing from 2000 to 2008?" - or something like that you know?
My mother and father always told me that if I didn't live my life to its fullest and give myself a chance and live up to my full potential.. they told me that later in life I would regret it. And its very very true.. now that I'm getting older, I've noticed that what they told me is true!
My mother and father also told me, that "The older you get.. the quicker time seems to move."
Well, I often find myself asking myself.. "Why is that? Why does time seem to move quicker.. with age? Is there a cause to it?"
I guess my ex-girlfriend was right when she and I got into a fuss one day, and she looked at me and said, "You know, you over-analyze things..." - I'm beginning
to think that she's right. I do over-analyze things. I have a very very curious mind. I love learning new things.. and I love to solve every day questions.
I dunno.. I kinda think it helps me actually. I think that if I didn't "over-analyze" things, I think I would have been dead a long time ago.
Who knows though, right? That's the thing about life.. its just a mystery.
peace & hugs everyone.
P.S. - Have a great weekend! Have fun but be safe while having that fun.. -cguru
