1000w MH system for $140 bucks??

This can't be right... can it? When I was looking for a 1000w MH and a 1000w HPS system I found this... I don't know.. might have a crappy ballast.

Pretty cheap,,i would spend as much as you can afford on a decent ballast. You don't want to come home to a pile of ashes.

I really need help getting a lighting system... 600w or 1000w. I dont have that much cash but I want a shit load of light.. ideas anyone?

I'm not sure on the ballast... I cant really find reviews per se. I was thinking about just a magnetic ballast but I heard they use a lot of energy.

Lumatek Digital Ballast... they say the lumen output is better and that they run more quite... 600w ballast is around $200 bucks! Thats crazy expensive. hmmm I really dont want to go lower than 600w... 400w isn't good enough.

Spend your money correctly....

spend 300 dollars on 1 good light setup...

I would choose a Digital Ballast.... The lumen output depends on the bulb......

Spend the 200 dollars on the 600w and get yourself 2 bulbs... 1 for veg & 1 for flower...

If u choose a 400w hps u can use 1 bulb..... the Son-t Agro... but the 600w doesnt have that.... But they put 40'000 more lumens then 400w.

So yes, choose the 600w - 200 dollars
1x Veg 1x Flower Bulb - 100 dollars

300 dollars.....

You'r grow can be setup with 8-14 plants...

If you dont have alot of cash & you want max lumens go with a 1,000 watt hps system with a magnetic ballast,digital ballasts have nowhere near the lifespan of a magnetic ballast,digital ballasts are not the big energy savers they're made out to be either,by the time you add up the energy savings plus the short life span of digital ballasts magnetic ballasts are the better choice.

Check ebay daily & be sure to use the "Distance nearest first" search feature,they come up very often & saving on shipping brings the costs down drastically,i picked up a 1,000 a few months back from ebay for right around $120.00 for a complete system.

BTW that ballast is an excellent ballast,i own several of them.
