1000w MH for buding?

well i grew my little guy from clone outdoors and now its fall and really chilly outside so i brought my plant inside and only have a 1000w MH 2 finish it with is this too much light.this is my first plant and am so syked 2 smoke it.I want the best for my plant and for me lol plz help!!

Not really to much but not needed for 1 plant but mh is the wrong type of light should be hps but if thats what ya got go ahead and use it or get a conversion bulb but that ll cost ya more then a new light.

fuck, i'd stay with the mh- if you're not looking for surplus buds to sell, the uvb in mh should make your thc significantly stronger than an hps would.

My first grow I used a MH light and the buds were nice and dense with lots of trichs. No complaints here, use what you got...you won't be disappointed.

you will be fine using 1000w mh for budding just make sure the light is far enough away from the plant so it doesnt burn it. I did the same exact thing and couldnt get a hps so I used the mh and she came out gourgeous. Like DND said use what u got and you wont be dissapointed. JH

try 18" at first? but you can get away with 12",,but you do need a fan blowing over your plant? and how big is the grow room? is it well vented? as you do need to get rid of all that heat? i like your avater its cool,,

actually im using a spare room with 2 windows and 2 entrences room is 15x20x8foot celings. light is 1 foot below celing. pot is 1 foot of the ground. im gonna go buy a digi cam so i can post some pics of the room and plant .
