1000W HPS System

im looking to get a high pressure sodium light system this is the one I'm considering. It has a switchable ballast add on to be able to also run MH for an additional 30$. is this a good value? this website has 12 different HPS lights for sale. does anyone know if this is overpriced and if there is somewhere else i can get it for cheaper? :joint:

the hood air cooled hood will make it a bit more

i wanted the air cooled hood to keep the heat down. how many plants could i put under a 1,000w hps?? what other kinds of lights would be good to use in combination with the 1,000 watt hps?

check out elitehydro.com there pretty cheep and still sell quality not like htg.
i would put no more than 15 plants under a 1000 un less your doing a sog then as many as will fit in you table

oh man, sorry to hear that you think HTG is shit.. I've been buying from them for over a year and have never had a problem. 2 400watt switchables, and one 600 watt switchable. Never any problems... Maybe i just got lucky! :peace:

Ya I agree with Armlength. Ive had nothing but success with all HTG supplies for over 2 years. Great company
