1000w hps question

Well I was just getting ready to buy a 600 watter to replace my 400 and move the 400 to Veg and use 600 for bloom. As I was getting ready to buy, a seen a 1000 watter for about the same price. I have a 8" Elicent Inline Fan pulling air from one 4x4 and one 3x4 room, both about 8 ft tall and split from 8" to 4" duct for each room. I'm pretty sure I would be fine on heat with a cool tube but my question is, Would i be good without one? The fan I have pushes/pulls 418 CFM and it's in my basement, so ambient temps are usually pretty good year round. If someone with a little 1000w heat experience could help me out (hopefully within the next 2 hrs before auction ends) I would appreciate it. Thanks ahead

I use a 1000 watters. They are hot. 600 hundreds not so hot and ya can have the light closer. If ya can cool the 1000 watter then get it.

Your largest grow area is 4x4.

Unless you're changing relatively soon to a different grow size there's no real point in running a 1k there vs a 600. The 600 is the ideal size for your largest space and going to give almost identical results with a significant savings in power and heat.
