1000w DE hps ?

I'm confused on double ended hps bulbs, maybe someone can help.

For an 8x8 room
How many DE lights do you vs a single ended bulb?

Are they the same ?

Probably 1 DE 1000 watt with plenty of room to work in, and 2 single ended fixtures 1000 watt with no room to work.

What about 2 DE 1000w in an 8x8 room?

And what do you mean by no room to work?

Hope you have a good ac unit to cool those lights if you put two in there.
