1000w and 600w or 2 600w?

Hey guys,

we are enclosing our grow room and in the process of sealing it and adding co2. We have a 60 site aeroponic table that is 4.5 x 8. Should we run a 1000w with a 600w right next to it or have two 600w and use the 1000w for vegging the mothers?

get both 600s. The lumen to watt ratio us the most efficient. a 1000 watts for veg is a little over kill. My room is two 600s and 1 400 for flower and some flouros for veg.

I have two 4'x8' flood and drain tables in my flower room that I run SOG in. I tried several different light combos with 1000w and 600w lights and I achieved the best results running 3 x 600w in cool tubes over both tables. You could possibly center your 1000w in the middle and put a 600w on each side for total coverage. I use a T5 HO (8 bulb x 4') to veg with and get great results.

thanks guys, yeah 3x 600w would be great but i dont think our electrical system would be able to handle that. 2x 600w plus co2 should be plenty right?

Go with 2 600's, you get more total lumens, than a single 1000, you cover larger area all together... a very viable option would also be a single 1000w with a light rail. From what I have researched and read and heard reviews, there is about nothing that will beat out a light on a light rail.

600s are the way to go
as for rails I got to disagree ive used them and now they sit in a closet gathering dust.

Yeah go with the 2*600watts. I'll grow first with the 1k since you have it. Once you make some cash off your herbs buy the 6's.

do a 600w on top, a 600 w down the side and get a 400 w or a t5 for vegging

We are still using the 1000w and 600w till we have enough for another 600w. Check out the grow in my sig
