1000 watt MH for veg then 400 watt hps for flower

will this work or will i need to grab a 1000 watt hps bulb to compensate for the 1000 MH?

id veg with a 400 w and flower with the 1000w. or veg and flower with the 1000w . you will be fine

Dude if your exhaust and temps permit use both at the same time for veg and flower and you will be way strait granted you know what your doing.

If you can only use one light at each stage, regardless of if it's HPS or MH, always use the highest wattage light for Flowering. If you could get the ventilation setup right, I would use them both for the entire grow.
