100+70 watt hps???

im new to this, and i was wondering if about 170 hps is any good to grow with? about how many plants? how long?

I would say one to two plants more if your doing SOG. Very small plants less than 2ft would be ideal for that size light. Check out my first grow. I ended up with about 40g from one plant under a 70w hps.

did you use any extra lights? my lights are so fucking ghetto rigged its not even funny. i bolted one to a rolling tray, one with the little legs on the bottom. and the other is a box that is supposed to be mounted on a wall, but i took it down, and removed the reflector and the socket, rewired it so it could be moved, and now i have the light and the reflector with a little lee-way, i hope 170 watts will do it, if there's anytips for really low budget grow opsthat should be in stealth mode that would be really helpful...i.e. soil, ferts, reflection, im mean really cheap!!!

i would suggest atleast a 400watt if you wanna grow the real deal.

like i said im really freakin broke...is there any other way i could get a bigger light...super cheap...free???
