10 Gallon Smart Pots?

Next season I plan on growing my very first herb and was wondering in terms of yield what I can expect from a single plant in a ten gallon smart pot using the Main Lining technique. I know different plants have different yields and really it's never a specific answer as there are many limiting factors that determine what you will yield. The "nugbuckets" dude that has all the information on the main lining technique says that he can grow 3.5-5 ounces per plant. Not sure if I can grow more than this using the main lining technique?

Grow it and let us know... there are quite a few variables that come into play so asking how much is not a question that can be answered with any certainty...

You can grow that with fluorescent lights just topping the plant and tying it to the planter weight isn't a measurement of success because that takes more time and doesn't yield dense nuggets of highly resinous grade a+++ smoke. If you want help for real tell us what you are trying to achieve on what budget. You have an advantage which is ample time to plan it is my advice you jump in now, gain an understanding of it all and dream in 3D. Listen you can also do a microgrow for not too much money including building a carbon activated filter to mask smell. Google micro grow cannabis

Listen I think you meant you were going to grow in 10 gallon containers indoors. It is common when new to think that you should just use a huge planter but actually we first plant in solo cups with large holes cut in the bottom then little by little we transplant into larger containers. It is time proven that roots grow out to the sides then around until they hit the bottom so by building a great root mass then transplanting we end up with a well distributed root ball. By the time you hit 10 gallons it would be more than 6 months I think

You'll need a lot of plant to fill a 10 gal but so many details play in. What lights you plan on using & how long are you looking to veg

I veg for over 2 months & LST a bit & got around a pound per. But I also ran 600w hps lights 24 hours a day

From experience using every training method there is....when I mainlined my plants last year as an experiment..... WOW! yields were off the charts!!!!!! Alls I know is I will never go back! if done right....and you read read read....you could pull half a pound or more your first time in a 10 gallon with mainlining. Though I do like nebula haze method a little better vs nug buckets.
