3 zips is really good with 160watts(12,000) lumens of cfl's. You may have set a record lolI only use CFL's, start with 1 and by the end of my veg I'm using 3 40w(actual not equivalent). At max in flower I've only gone to 4. Produced 3oz from 1 plant. DWC 1 month veg, 2 month flower.

I just have one t5 light.5g per watt on cfl is probably all I would expect if I used them but probably not a record. Still a cheaply lit crop tho!
.5 gpw with cfl' is like pulling 2 lbs from 1000watts of hps. While it can be done, it requires a perfected room with high yielding strains that have never heard of stress. Once cfl's start to get past 400watts in a tight ass room then sometimes .6/.7 can be done but totally strain dependant..5g per watt on cfl is probably all I would expect if I used them but probably not a record. You don't need a super heavy yielding strain to pull 2lbs off of a 1000 watt light. IMO if you're running 1000 you should be pulling at least 2 that's .9ish g/watt which is good, not great. I get 1.5-2 off my 600s generally, and I run a lot of ogs.(usually on the lower side with strains like Tahoe or Larry).5 gpw with cfl' is like pulling 2 lbs from 1000watts of hps. Actually i pull 1000-1300 grams with 4-5 girls under 1k's in 10 gallon pots. I was just speaking from my past experience in general that .5 gpw from cfl's is unlikely with new growers, luck would be better with healthy high yielding plants. Like i said though, it can be done but i highly doubt most new cfl growers can achieve it without running 500+ watts in the same room. How do you like flowering that og tahoe? That could be enough to veg a plant, I used a 4' T12 on my first plant and it got pretty big. Still use it for the first week or so.I just have one t5 light
Yeah, that's more like what I feel 1000watter should pull. Tahoe is my favorite, really yields like crap though I generally hit 550-700 or so from a 600hps, for comparison if I run blue dream I get 800-975 or so with the same light. I've been running LEDs a lot more recently though and I'm pulling 5-7 oz off of my 150-180 watt led. Have someone sending me down some gsc cuts which are also supposed to be shitty yielders, but we'll see.Actually i pull 1000-1300 grams with 4-5 girls under 1k's in 10 gallon pots.
