1 month veg, female or male?

Whats up rollitup!
ive been growing about 6 og kush plants out door 12/12 and the plant has been in veg for a month or so. i noticed how one of them has been starting to smell, pretty much only noticeable if you are at least 2 feet within the range of the pot. is this "smell" an indication of a female? much advice appreciated

I was thinking so too, but i realized there were little balls growing around the 4th-5th node. I searched up how male pre-flowers looked like and as well as female pre-flowers, do the pistils come out automaticly or do calyxes have to form first? Again, much advice appreciated.

Hell no..smell does not have ANYTHING to do with sex...i had 3 male plants that were smelling supoer dank....more so than the females in the group..usually males grow more strechy,and faster than females..see my journal for clues..
