Looking great LG!
Thanks @DarkWeb

Nice! I grew coletrain about 8 years ago, very nice strain.
How did you find them for stretch. the one on the left has had explosive growth this week. I'm trying to figure out when I should flip to flower and think it should probably sooner rather than later.

Here's some pics from this morning. I pushed the nutrients up to 800ppm this week. They really started feeding heavy last week

The stretch wasn't bad, a little more than double in size. I would fill in those screens before flowering, it will be worth the wait. Enjoy!

Your girls are looking amazing!!
Out of curiosity, what is the distance between the top of your waterfarm (base of the plant) and your screen?
And while I'm asking questions, if the upper right corner of my screen has a 'unwatch' box, wouldn't it be safe to assume that I am supposed to be 'watching' this thread? How come I am not getting notifications when there are new posts? Ticking me off!
Cheers,
WillieP

They 8" from the top of the bucket to the screen. I did 12" previously but it seemed like wasted space. I have a hole in the top of the buckets with a drain plug and I use a funnel for topping up my water. I use a turkey baster to take water out through the same hole for testing. I can't open the buckets now that they're under the screen. I don't bother with res changes once they're under the screen. I just let it drink all the water then add more.

I have similar problems with notifications but they seem to be isolated to the journal forum. Maybe unwatching then re-subscribing will fix the issue.

Thanks for your answers LG.
I tried the unwatch/watch thing, maybe that will help.

I got a notification about the update to your journal but not @Dr.Amber Trichome weird

I did some tucking last night, they looked really rough. It's pretty crazy how they've already recovered this morning. Things have really sped up in the past week. They're consuming about a gallon of water per day and the roots have exploded. First two picks are when I was tucking last night and how the looked this morning.

Looking awesome as always LG, I wouldn't expect less from you, you are always on point! May I ask what do you take your photos with?
Thanks Flatrate, that means a lot! I'm using a regular iphone xs. I strip the exif data before I upload here.

Looks like that fan will be in the way.
Yea the fan was unfortunately an afterthought. It's an 18" wall fan and you can see the edge my carbon filter on the right hand side.

I started flowering yesterday. I know I've been getting advice to let it go a little longer but I'm very concerned about outgrowing the space I have. I think I'd rather have less than have it overgrown. I'll continue tucking and pruning for the next week or so then let them go.

I have the ability to keep clones and a mother plant now. I gave my brother in law my old 3x3 gorilla tent, ventilation and strip lights and bought a turboklone. I don't think I'm going to clone the critical + 2.0. It's such a dense plant with super tight nodes, way too many leaves and it doesn't like being bent. the cole train love being scrogged and respond to the abuse quickly.

Awesome I'll have to do the resubscribe thing on some of the threads that I have problems.

One week of flowering is done. I have stopped training the critical as of Wednesday. It just hasn't stretched much, the skin has gone hard a and it's starting to make flowers. The cole train have stretched and filled in niceley. The one in the middle didn't quite fill out but it's not too bad. I did a massive defoliation after tucking on Saturday. I've always struggled with tons of larf and I've tried to make every top count and that's just made everything way too crowded. I removed everything that was under the canopy and reduced the number of possible tops.

My new turbo cloner arrived over the weekend. I'll be making clones of the two cole trains, the critical wasn't the greatest plant for scrogging so I'm not cloning that plant.

This is what it looked like before tucking and defoliation

Sunday It had already bounced back.

So I discovered some powdery mildew on critical plant last week. I treated all the plants on Wednesday with growsafe and gave the one plant with the issue a treatment again on Thursday. I think this happened because I didn't have adequate air flow in the back corner and I allowed the plant to get too bushy. I think I might have it licked and haven't seen any further signs since last week.

Pics are from @ 17 days from flipping to 12/12. The cole train on the left has gone completely nuts lol. They almost seem to have sativa type leaves which are a nice change from all the indica dominant strains I've been growing. The cole train in the middle is a little slower than the other one to get started. I'm seeing small flowers starting to form.

I took two cuttings from each cole train on Saturday, I didn't clone the critical as it's not really a scrog friendly plant. I'm really hoping the larger cole train is a good plant. It's the easiest plant I've ever scrogged.

Hey LG,
All your girls look amazing, but that one on the far right is above and beyond!!
That screen is packed!
I had to look up Cole Train as I was not familiar with it. I'm looking forward to your smoke report.
Glad things are going well. And fingers crossed on the PM issue.

Will taking clones after flowering has started have an effect on them. I know it can be done but I don't remember if they just take longer, or if there is a re-veg thing that happens. I've never done it, I am just curious.

Cheers,
WillieP
