First off let me start by saying I live pretty far up north. I know how many BTU I need depending on the season.
with that being said...
Im going to be trying this next run as I don't have much of a choice. Any suggestions or input would be helpful as I've never attempted this before and I'm not sure what to expect . But to get straight to the point I'll have two rooms. Each containing 16 lights. sealed, open wing. With one 5 ton minisplit. I'll be using 4 12" inline fans, two in, two out. Each rated at 1700 cfm. My rooms are fairly tight so my volume of space is smaller. 3800 cu ft. Or 12x40x8. so I'll be exchanging the air from room to room at least once a minute if not twice depending on how it's setup. I also have two emergency options in each garden if temps go above 80. 4 lights will cutoff and the air will be evacuated. I do realize I will be working my AC very hard for two months. But I'll be running 11/13 to give it some type of brake. Freezing is my only concern but I'm usually in there every day to check on it anyways
Is there anything I should keep an eye out for or expect to be different?
(60k BTU for 16kw of light is good for me almost year around. On some of those summer days when it gets really hot outside I can just turn down a few lights or add a portable. Also know I am getting another split after this, as summers around the corner)
I heard that this has been done successfully and is quite more common than one would imagine..?
I'm hoping to hear that this will work just fine from somebody who has done something similar...
Again any input is appreciated.
