1 600W or 2 400W?

Gonna be using a 4X4 tent. Probably 14-16 plants. This first grow veg and flower will take place in one tent...next go around it will be two seperate tents to get a perpetual going. Should i use 1 600W or 2 400W? I figured the two 400's to get more of an even coverage. Opinions?

always go bigger with your lights. the more watts the more grams.

What's the goal? 1 gram per watt?

If your growing a large number of plants, go with 2 400w. You will be able to light a larger area with two lights. If your only doing a few plants in a smaller area, I'd suggest the 600w to save space and money (200w less power to use.)

I figure one plant per sq ft. so 16 plants in a 4X4 tent sounds right. guess I'll go with the 2 400W then.

just get the air cooled lights and should be just fine or it will be 2 hot

I planned on going with air cooled lights. I'll make a drawing of how i planned to do this...
