1:1 THC to CBD Strains

As the demand for 1:1 continues to grow, I thought it'd be a good idea to try to compile a comprehensive list of known strains that have a 1:1 (or very close to it) ratio of THC and CBD. These are the ones that I'm currently aware of. I'm sure that there's more so feel free to add to the list.

Argyle
Cannatonic
CBD Crack
CBD Critical Cure
CBD White Widow
Cream & Cheese CBD
Critical CBD
Dancehall
Harlequin CBD
Pennywise
Purple Kush CBD
Sweet and Sour Widow

Relic seeds (dynasty) has grapefruit web which is a 1:1
Dinafem has a amnesia cbd that is also 1:1
I like Relic's last line of their description.. "Smells and flavors of sweet & sour grapefruit, mango and a subtle hint of antiseptic."

I actually bought a pack for next spring. I’m excited to pop it. I run amnesia cbd right now and it’s one of my favorites. Hopefully this will replace it.

Heard a potcast in which the dude frim SHN was asked what CBD strain he'd run himself. he said
The dude who runs The Seed Kompany gave the Stanley Bros Charlottes wb strain. They have a very tasty looking line up but alas no a lot of grow info anywhere. I put my money on Relic and got grapefruit web v1 (type 2)

I saw on IG that Bodhi's Ethiopian paintbrush cross has a 1:1.

Also have some Ethiopian from Ace that is advertised to have high CBD.

Pineapple Thai I used to have (and now have the 707 seed version) claimed to have a 3:2 ratio of 15%THC:10%CBD and it gives me a high I can only describe as a "feeling like you're on the beach" type of ease. Very calming has the best "feel good" component to it.

I like the sounds of that Pineapple Thai and its 3:2 ratio! Nothing quite like being at the beach while landlocked.

It's a great feeling :) The main issue with the plant is that it grows like a Thai with long internode length and small production. I had a cross of it (lost the cross) to a Tahoe male that did the trick, kept the high and pineapple flavor, but brought way more yield and better structure.

Plan is to chuck some hashplant pollen at it to see if we can get a bigger producer with more resin, while keeping the flavor and effects. Fingers crossed.

Just remember- unless you get a clone that has been tested for thc:cbd content then you dont know what you have.
If you grow from seed the plants could have a great variance in thc:cbd content.
It makes me cringe when I see people offering ‘harlequin’ seeds for trade when Harlequin is a clone only.

Very true. The original Pineapple Thai clone I purchased in Sebastopol at Peace in Medicine and they had it tested and found it had the 15% thc:10% cbd. I researched several times and couldn't find the original source of the PT clone until in the last year I found a place in Norcal that had it. Then I found 707 seeds that carried it and it sounded just like the original. Germinated those beans and found they all had the same exact same smell as the original clone - and it's the most unique pineapple smell I've ever smelled. One in particular was exactly the same in every way I could remember. If it's not the same exact plant I would be surprised. I'm guessing the guys at Peace in Medicine bought the clone from the seed producer or something like that.

I plan to have this one tested as soon as money and time allows, and when I find a local testing company that I trust. As of now I'm still pretty pessimistic on the whole testing thing for several reasons:
- who knows which equipment is right? What companies' state of the art testing machine they tell you about is the most accurate?
- why not lie? Struggling testing companies can easily fudge the results to get more customers because they "test high." Locals are reporting 30 - 40% flower and it's a joke.
- we still don't even know what all the numbers mean and the entourage effect. So, imo everyone is just tossing numbers around.

Just my .02 right now on testing and numbers. I think numbers will be important once we figure out what they really mean and once we develop a standardization of the testing procedures.

Personally I think there is something to the cbd and I assume the PT has cbd in it. The high (and terps tbh) is so different than any other flower I've had and because of that I'm assuming the cbd is the reason why. My logic might be flawed but it's the only thing I can trust on this topic atm.
