0% germination from the attitude

So I tried germinating 5 feminized Dutch Passion's Holland's Hope 96 hours ago and not a single seed germinated. I used the paper towel method and distilled neutral pH water. So obviously I am irked I spent $80 on seeds and not one even grew a root.

I decided since Attitude is such a popular seedbank they would obviously reimburse me/replace my seeds. But when I went to their contact page it says this "PLEASE NOTE: We cannot respond to emails with reference to: growing or germination and cannot give any advice. We can only sell seeds as souvenirs or for storage in case the laws may change."

So am I screwed now? If that is the case then this is really ridiculous, I don't have any money to buy more seeds now and what the Attitude has sold me is clearly a flawed product. I think it's a little stupid how they talk about them being souvenirs, when in the description pages they love boasting how much THC will grow out of those things and the flavors their smoke will develop. But if you decide to contact them because the product you sold them is flawed, ohhh nooo. Sorry, we can't answer that question.

I've never read attitude boasting about THC or flavors. But anyways unless your pack was damaged I don't think attitude will do anything. I wouldn't go to blaming attitude, is it not a possibility you did something wrong especially since you got a 0% germ rate. They do process 1000's of orders and I have heard of people getting damaged goods, and they still managed to germ some seeds and I have heard of attitude replacing a crushed product. However if your package was fine I don't think they will do anything.

Send them an email but it is probably a pretty busy weekend considering the june offer so don't expect an answer immediately.

yah, i never understand why people get mad at the attitude when they have germ problems.. all they did was send you the seeds, they didn't make them.. that does suck about your beans, but like they say on their site, they don't talk about germing seeds at all since it is pretty much illegal anywhere to do so...

Well I have germinated seeds before with the exact same method and have had great success. I have never actually grown, but I have on multiple occasions just germinated bag seed out of curiosity and would get around 80% plus success rate with mature seeds.

not their fault man.

what method of germination were you using again??

just curious.

Maybe its possible you made mistakes??

I personally have made 3 total purchases from Attitude. Never once had a problem with anything. Shipping was fairly quick considering my location and their location. Got them every single time with no problems. I mean, sure not every single individual seed may have germinated; and not all the ones that germinated... sprouted; and even a few of the ones that sprouted.. didn't make it past veg. cycle for whatever the reason may be.

So, lets say you only order 5packs of Feminized seeds every time you order whatever the strain(s) might be.. you may not get all five to germinate. Just like just explained.. anything can happen and sometimes it does happen.

I also have made at least 2 purchases from Nirvana Seed Co. and never had a problem with either of those orders either. Actually the second order from them was a pack of their 'White Berry' strain. Feminized of course and, 4 out of the 5 germinated and all four made it to harvest too. That's pretty good in my book.

Dutch passion has a habit of not germinating.
Not attitudes fault,do a little more research before you buy beans.

I germ in various mediums, I use soil in 80% of my grows, so I use this stuff called dirt to plant in. Works all the time! Just kidding! attitude should do something for you call them, screw the email. But seriously, I do germ in various ways, paper towels are ok, but if you get a dollar store sponge and slice it down the middle...laterally to make a pocket. Soak in root 66 and pop the seeds in...it doesnt dry out like paper towels do! Nobody I know does it the same, I got this tecnique from an old hawaiian lady. Or use jiffy pots just straight in a rapid rooter. Those that dont pop right away I put em in dirt and hope for the best, but usually the seeds jump to life pretty quick!
