Multi-quote?

Using the search feature to look for a tutorial on how to use the multi-quote function proved fruitless. Can someone point me to a thread or give me a quick tutorial for using this function?

Thanks in advance.

Click the TV-shaped thingy for all but the last post; then hit Reply with Quote.

Beware that sometimes you'll have a "holdover" next time you Reply with Quote elsewhere. I just delete the stowaway. cn

i usually open up everything i wanna reply and put it all into one box with replies
I know this is a pain but do you have any examples of what you are talking about so I can put 2 and 2 together?

What I want to do is just quote one sentence then post my response under that quoting several different posts in this manner.. So the quote is in the blue bubble thingy. Do you know what I'm sayin? LOL

CN take off your scifi smart hat and put on your Joe-schmo stoner hat so I can understand you...LMAO

If I quote all of the posts I want to respond to at once then I would have to go through and edit all of the posts if I want to just use one sentence? I thought multi-qoute would allow me to only highlight one sentence in each post if I wanted to? What I'm getting from you is multi-quote will only highlight the WHOLE post.

Yes; you're stuck with editing posts down to size in the post preparation window. It's really not that much work. Since I'm a lazy ol' bear, i usually just bold the bits to which i want to answer. cn

like ill right hand click "reply with quote" and click open new tab
than ill scroll to the reply bar
ill copy and paste each quote im replying to while adding my response does that make sensre?
