Hey guys, welcome to my grow. I just wanted to start out by thanking everyone here in the TGA section for the abundance of information you have shared. It has been awesome to learn about TGA (and Super Soil). This truly is an awesome community! :D

Introduction to my space...

4'x4'x6.5' Tent
1k Dimmable Ballast
25"x25" Blockbuster Hood
425cfm Inline Fan
6"x24" Phat Filter
Digilux MH & HPS
Supersoil with Roots base

A little background...

2/25
Alright guys, I started out by placing ten Timewreck seeds in distilled water for 12 hours and after they all sank, I threw them in party cups with Roots. I found some clear cups that fit perfectly into the tops of the larger party cups so I used them to make a humidity dome. I don't have a florescent setup yet so I cranked the 1k MH to 50% and set it so the cups were chilling at about 90 degrees. (Within 36 hours six of the seeds had broken ground and the other four weren't far behind. 100% germ.):bigjoint:

I opened up the tent this morning to see two of the seedlings laying down. I think they're stretching a bit due to higher temps. I'm trying to keep it around 85 but still getting things dialed in. I ended up cutting a straw open and placing it around them as a crutch. Hopefully they'll strengthen up before transplant.

Today is transplant day.:hump: I moved everyone from party cups to 2 gallon smart pots. I have noticed from other ops that TW is a fairIy healthy eater so I used a tip from Geekmike and threw a few cups of Supersoil in the bottom of each 2gal. I figure if it's too hot I can always flush a bit. As ReefBongwell has said, "Ride or die bitches!" :D

Hey nerds, what's good? Just throwing a weekly update at you... Everybody is doing sweet including the two that needed straw crutches.:bigjoint: I'm surprised to see that despite the early stretch they are all now very squat with only about a quarter inch between nodes. I'm not exactly trying to keep them low but I attribute this to the intensity of the light and me getting the temps to chill out. I'm shooting for 85ish daytime and a bit above 70 at night. (Stay posted, I'll put up some photos tonight.)

I had a noob question maybe one of you gents could answer... I wanted to get some of these Mainlined but the larger kids are already working on node 4. Is it still possible to top back down at node 2 like nugs does or should i just top where they're at now?

i'd let them go a little longer, say, 5 nodes. I like for the stem to be between 1/8 and a 1/4 of an inch before topping (below the topping point of course). what nugs does is let them go about 21 days, flip to 12/12 for 5to7, and use his pro skill to determine sex. then he tops (which takes care of the stretchy stuff due to 12/12) and starts his process, usually around day 25to27 i believe.

Here are the photos I took Tuesday... There are five bigger TWs on the bottom portion of the wide pic that are working on their true forth. The other five are still filling out their third. Everything is going smooth in this camp!:weed: (Day 15 pics btw)

Ay gents, thanks for joining me. I've got 1k watts at my disposal in a 4x4 space so if I can keep these temps down we should have some certified fiya!

Nerds, I came home this afternoon to find these recesses on a fan leaf. I only found it on one plant on one leaf
So I pulled it out and checked it up and down with no signs of any thing. Any ideas?

I use Roots as my base and I know it carries thrips....not sure what harm they're capable of though..

That's not thrips... looks more like mild nute burn. Thrips make the home on the underside of the leaves i believe you'll see spots there if you got'em. Like I said though, looks more like a little mild leaf burn... maybe you got a tiny bit of nute water on the tips of the leaves?

I watered yesterday with blackstrap molasses and got a little wild. I wonder if that could be it... Thanks for the input, RB.

Hmm maybe.... blackstrap molasses doesn't usually burn in my experience but it's super acidic if you don't watch your pH it'll fuck your pH up usually takes my water down to around 4.

Today was a very important day. :leaf: My first step into Mainlining! With a little advice from another great dude around here and some juevos I got down and gave these kids their first topping to begin the ML process! :hump: :bigjoint: A small step backwards to make a huge leap forward...

The BEFORE......

and the AFTER.... (I haven't taken the clones yet)

There is more work to be done. Back to the lab..

the most important part from here on out is timing your toppings for 4 and 8, and your transplant to final container size appropriatly to cause as little stress as possible. those look like they'll be ready for cloneing off of clone nodes shortly, and you can probably go ahead and bend you main leader / tie it to the main stem with a metal hook as shown here after you do clone. If going with 7s, I like to transplant shortly after topping for 4, as it seems they recover quickest doing it that way. if going to 5s or smaller, transplant after its recovered from topping for 8.

Morning guys, hope all is well with everyone!:leaf: I got up early this morning and got to work... I took clones off of the remaining five that I had left to grow a bit more and checked on the others. I think all twenty clones are going to make it. After I cloned, I topped for four and tied everyone down. Here are some shots..

The house has been getting a little stinky lately so I finally had to throw in my carbon filter. Were smell-free now! :bigjoint: :peace:

Lookin' real good -- I forgot you were mainlining... should have some real crazy beasts for flower when it's time :) I may do a mainline vs my version of LST test on next run to see which works better for me... gonna have to start reading up on mainling more soon in preparation :)
