Muntant Jack the Ripper...

Well I had some old JTR seeds (3 seed giveaway from the attitude like 2 years ago) and thought I would start them... well only 1 seed popped so I stuck it in soil, I also had a 3 pack of 3D same thing 1/3 but as I said there a little old, 3D looking great btw... on to the JTR...I planted 1 seed but have 3 plants growing from it!!! craziest thing I have ever seen in 20+ years of doing this...It is growing and looks to be healthy.. so we shall see what happens I guess...

i hear this is quite common with jtr, or at least double is quite common, somone a few days ago just had a double, kinda cool. i think they separated theirs tho

yeah its not a mutant its triplets like people can have.... you can get twins and stuff its intense!!!

That's cool man, cant go wrong with 3 plants from one seed.

Sometimes if you are careful you can successfully take one of the mutant seedlings and plant it, having basically and (obviously lol) 1 extra plant that came from one seed. In your case 2. That's crazy! Good luck with the grow they look great. But don't mess up your grow and take em all apart! I'd feel awful if it killed your plant! lol

i just had mine come out of the soil, and i just had twins on one of my jack the rippers.... does this happen often?

i had a pack of 5, and i now have 3 "twins" so it must be common.. what do you guys do? do you try and seperate them or put em into a bigger pot with some extra super soil? sub any advice?

ok day 10... going to plant in a 3 gal. pot for veg. today, then going to probably put it in a big plastic tote with about 20gal of super soil in a month or so... I am not going to separate them but I am going to LST them so each of the 3 gets good light... well here's the pics from day 10...

Good choice. They're way too far along to separate them now anyhow. With good root space and ample light you should do well.

ok day 14... been in a 2gal pot for 4days now, in straight Roots soil...
last 2 pics are of my 3D its in a 2gal pot of Roots too..28days old, topped at 10th node 4 days ago, there is nodes about every 1/2" to 3/4" from bottom to top, very tightly packaged plant...

I would flower those guys if I were you. Might be a problem if you keep vegging.

its only 6" tall at the moment so I'm going to let it go for a while, it will be going in about 20 gal of soil so should have enough root space...

Ahhhh 20 gal soil... That changes everything I'd be blessed to use anything bigger than 5 gallons, but I got major height restrictions. 4 feet max including lights. Still, you might have moisture problems in-between plants if you veg them too long. Imagine putting 3 clones together and rooting them. 3 full sized plants in one space? Seems impossible

ok been a little bit, and plans have changed for the JTR...I got to thinking and did not want to waste my time to grow a big bush and have it turn out male...so I put it in 12/12 and from one seed I got 2 sides that male and 1 female so I think I'm going to just cut back the male sides some and seed it...

I have it in a 2' x 2' tent with a 400hps, in about 20 gal of super soil... at the moment its around 23" tall and getting bushed out as it stretches only been in 12/12 for 9 days now..
I cut the 2 male sides back to just the top 4" so they can still grow but wont have any limbs to be in the way of the girl, but I can still get pollen so I can make me some seeds for a full run of JTR, and also want to pollen some of my autos Russian Rocket Fuel X Purple Jem-green pheno... I think the cross would be great as my autos have a very fruity smell and taste and a great up high mixed with JTR, something new to play with over the next few years anyway...I'll get some picks up tomorrow...

Im about to harvest 9 jack the rippers soon and have 5 jack the rippers 2 weeks into flowering, as well as other strains. I can only imagine auto-flowering Jacks!! I would kill a small animal with my bare hands for some of those seeds........ Literally.
