first time grow with hempy :)

Hey guys im doing my first grow and just wanted sum feedback as im growing so I know im on the right track! The riu crew is so awesome I wanted this place to be where I wanted to show my grow. I know it might seem like 4 strains are a lil much for my 1st grow but I should be ok just as long as I don't go over board with things I like the KISS method so am only using GH grow and bloom and hempy style buckets using only 100% perlite with RW and as a test run I have used 75% hydroton and 25% perlite in the bubblicious. I messed up the intake and exhaust so in a couple of days I will be converting a cab into a 2x2x2 scrog grow box which im only growing for me as I have cancer. anyways enough talk and get buckled in for the ride

sounds like you got it covered, pics arent working. i dont know how your gonna with 4 plants in a 2x2x2 tho

Just fed my blue mystic some nutes and gave the blackberry some RO water. I've been feeding my plants ro water and f4om what I've heard it give ur plants a magnesium def so when I get some money im gonna go get some cal/mag. And sadly my bubblicious and WW weres stunted in growth for over a weekin a half and so I decided to pull them :""""""( and when I pulled them I saw I had rust bc of the watering in the metal coffee can. So if your deciding to grow in hempy DON'T USE METAL CANS! Lol! So im germing a WW as we speak and will plant when ready!

Gave the BM 1/4 grow and the BB some RO water. Im seeing some yellowing on the coyteldons and am wondering why? I know they fall off around 3 weeks but there's some yellowing on the 2 week bb. I thought it was a ph problem and that It wasn't uptaking K so I got the ph to around 6.0 but am still not seeing any change so idk. Any ideas? I haven't given the bb any nutrients and I've been giving it around 5.8 - 6.3 RO water so idk!

And my WW was started showing a small root today so I decided to try and transplant it directly into 100% perlite. I have it on a heating mat and in a couple of hours if I don't see any moisture on the dome then im gonna place in my grow box and see what happens. And the reason im trying this is bc I don't like the plant sitting in rw bc the way hempy works fast is when the roots hit the bottom of the res they seem to explode with growth! And when I destroyed my 2 other strains I tore the rw in half and saw that the roots were just circulating in the rw instead of trying to search toward the bottom of the res for water.

I'm new to hempy too only 1 2l basket and 3 experimental version's. Leave cubes/seeds alone no food for babies your plants know how to live kiss remember. Need more info I think get PhotoShop for pics.

I signed up for photobucket and uploaded my pics on there but don't know how to get them on here. For some reason everytime I upload pix on here sometimes they work and sometimes they don't :/ any ideas why?

And my WW popped thru the 100% perlite and seems to be doing really good but did stretch quite a bit. I think I didn't dig a deep enough hole for the seed and that's why it did a significant stretch. And I think im have ph problems with my blue mystic and blackberry bc their coteldons seemed to be yellowing and about to fall off. My bm is already on its 3rd node so I can see why its falling off but the bb is just on its 2nd set of leaves. Im watering whenever I start to see the plant droop or the lil pot feels light. And am still feeding the bm 1/4 floragrow and bb RO water. Ill post some pix later whenever I get time

what kind of soil do you got man ? how much do you water it ? why did you add those little pebbles ?

and I don't think you planted deep enough they look so stretched... /:

download "Grow App" on the app store . It can help pinpoint your problems with 12 questions , makes it a little easier .

its not soil its called hempy. You get a container and poke a hole 2 inches from the bottom and fill it with nothing but perlite. This creates a little reservoir at the bottom so wehn the roots hit the bottom they explode with growth, its like a soil/hydro combo.

And the reson they seem stretched is bc I have a heating mat and when they germ in the container so much moisture builds up they start looking for light and shoot off so quickly they begin to strecth. If u look at my blue mystic its growing pretty low so my cfl lights are at an appropriate height.

Im watering whenver they seem to be droopy as I don't have a regular routine of watering. And I have that app already and was looking for a pro to steer me in the right direction

Mine looked like that and didn't grow under CFL's. Try a 150 watt HPS and in seven days it will exploding. Spend the $80 on amazon. I did for mine and just the increase in the amount of bud is worth it.

Ive not been on RIU for a while but if you want I can help steer you in the right direction. Hit me up for any questions you may have.

First off - your containers need to be blacked out. Your best bet at this stage will be to wrap black duct tape around them. This is essential.

Second - at this stage, and with your substrate, They'll like high humidity. Keep misting. If you have half a 2L bottle, use it as a mini propagator-dome and place it over the plant.

Thirdly - IMO - Don't bother with ph adjustments. Regular tap water with a 1/4 strength nutrient max should get it off to a good start.

Thnx moebius im gonna need you so if you could check up here every once in a while! So I read that it could be a N problem bc the yellowing ws starting from the bottom and working its way up. So 2 days ago I gave 1/2 tsp of grow and bloom to my bm and bb and the bm did get a little light green so maybe it was 2 strong and bb got yellow almost all around so I checked them today and the bb seemed to be getting dark green leaves! WHEW WHOO!! The bm still has a light green color to it so we'll see, I also mist the plants with the same 1/2 tsp of bloom and grow also today. Ill give a video update in two days! Thnx guys for all your help!
