Nirvana Seeds

Selection (10/10) - Not a huuuge selection, but definitely more than I would ever need. The strains they had were superb and veeery well known and highly rated. I bought 4 strains (Northern Light, White Rhino, Snow White, and Aurora Indica), and each purchased strain came in a packet of 10 seeds.

Price (10/10) - Each of the four strains I purchased were a little over $25 each ($2.50 per seed!!!!). Shipping is a flat rate of around $9. I also bought a germination kit, which was like $15. The germination kit was not worth it, but everything else is just about the best price I could imagine.

Service (9/10) - The only problem I had was that the germination kit didn't come complete (was missing the special bacteria mix). I received the order about a week and a half after I made the purchase. Seeds were shipped separate from the germination kit, and came in a very discreet package. Also, the charge to my card account was very discreet.

Stealth Rating (10/10) - As mentioned above, very discreet shipping and charging method.

Would you order from the same bank again? - Uhmm, hell yes. Where else could you purchase those 4 strains at $2.50 per seed???

Other Comments - You also receive 10 free seeds with your order. I germed 7 of the free seeds, and had 6 pop within 36 hours. The 6 are now veeery healthy little plants. The only one that didn't pop was one of the 3 that I tried germing in the germination kit. Don't waste your money on it (otherwise, a perfect company)

I have heard good things about Nirvana, although they dont have the strains I was looking for. Its really cheap and there is a pretty good selection, and yes I'm wondering the same about this germination kit, some details :). Goodluck on your grow, now that you got the seeds.

I got my seeds just fine... . Besides "Netherlands" being printed on the shipping label, the shipment was Very Discreet! I didnt receive my germ kit, however.... after contacting Nirvana they said they ship beans separate from other packages....The "second" package was confiscated by US customs. I got a letter and a package with "us customs" tape on it...... bummer and Nirvana told me they werent giving free seeds at that time.... Customs took the germ kit, but let the "soiltabs" get shipped.... Im not using them though... time release doesnt sit well with me....

Goin to order from speedy next.... I hear good things... maybe the cheapest beans aren't the safest beans...

Well, look at their website. It says which days they ship out. I received the order of seeds exactly 10 days after I ordered. The germ kit, btw, is supposed to contain two things. The main part nothing more than a pack of 10 grow pellets. The second is supposed to be a pack of beneficial bacteria that you dump in the water you plan to soak the pellets in. Honestly, just germ them the old fashioned way. And yes, the netherlands stamp was the only undiscreet aspect of their shipping method.

I was really paranoid about the purchase, but I have to say that I'm really happy with the order. The 6 seedlings (free seeds) are fun to watch as they all are growing differently than each other. Anyway, I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

btw, here's a link to the germination kit info http://www.nirvana-shop.com/en/marijuana-growing-aids/germination-kit.html

Nirvana is sketchy- stole my credit card number....and never got seeds. Use attitude- its more expensive but more reliable...and they won't steal your credit card # and attempt to rent a storage space in New Jersey with it.

I'm calling BS on that one. He's been in business for years and doesn't need to steal to afford something. Someone who isn't me ordered from Nirvana 10+ times years back when he had Seedsdirect. Recently, that same person ordered from his newer site SeedsBoutique which went flawlessly as well. Never once an issue.

I grew Nirvana's Aurora Indica Regular, 7/10 were females. There was alot of variation though, I honestly think i had 7 phenotypes lol. Most of them were decent, one stood out though and the smoke was quite enjoyable (definitely full indica body buzz as advertised, and a mild taste of NL with a bit of added sweetness from the afghan in it).

All in all my exp with them was decent, but just as a friendly tip i have since then found more success using Greenhouse and DNA Genetics. Alot less variation in the genes, overall more potent and better tasting, just as easy to grow, and not that much more expensive. Nothing wrong with nirvana I have seen some extremely beautiful grows, and I will def hunt for some of their gems when I have the space.

About this...I also purchased seeds from Nirvana and i must say you are dead on about everything. I, too, didn't get the bacto soil that although it had a small bag attached to the germination kit, there was maybe 10-15 tiney granuales of something in the bag. It's as if they put soil in it and dumped it out before shipping and what stuck to the bag was shipped. I got two germation kits by mistake and was charged for two (the bacto soild in each was the same). I am having the same problem regarding the seeds coming up. After 36 hours I only have one of the freebies and one of the purchased seeds coming up. When I got the seeds, I noticed a distinct difference in size between the freebies and purchased ones, being that the purchased ones were so tiney compared to the freebies and the stems of each one is significantly different. Does this mean that the tiney seeds will produce a tiney, difficult (the stem is no bigger around that kite string) plant? I mean it's hard to grow a fat, sturdy plant when the stem is paper thin. I know it's not me because the freebie is coming up fat and normal. Any advice about the tiney seedlings?

Just out of curiosity, what was in the germ kit, I always wondered what they were trying to push.
It's basically a small, and I mean small, 10-pot, plastic kit with soil (each pot is 1/2" x 1/2" square by 1.5" deep) for germinating seeds, although it doesn't seem to work as well as other methods. It's not worth the money. Definitely not worth the money! Plus, both kits were missing their bacto soil that was supposed to come with them (I got two kits by mistake and paid for two). I got a much larger (1' x 1' by 6" deep) 36-peat pot greenhouse, with 36 peat pots and automatic watering for half that much and it had so much more. Since I haven't heard a lot of good things about it, I will probably plant my other seeds in the 36-pot greenhouse as well. I planted my seeds three days ago in the kit and only 2 are coming up.

What seeds did you order?
I planted 3 snow whites and 5 randoms. 2 randoms didn't make it during germination, mby my mistakes since first timer. But the SW plants are like tanks very sturdy and lush. Mixed ones are a little more picky but compared to SW are much faster growing in terms of height. Had to do lots of LST and topping to keep them even.

5 days into flowering and can't wait to smoke test. And then pick more genetics from them :)
Possible candidates are from: AK48, Bubblelicious, Ice, Master Kush and Northern Lights.

I ordered 5 Pure Power Plants, 5 AK48s and got 10 freebies. Planted 2 PPP, 2 AKs and 2 freebies in the germination/propagator from Nirvana. I planted them Friday afternoon and I've got one PPP coming up (it just started coming up this morning) and the two freebies that seem rather thin and 1.5" tall. The stem is as thin as some of the fishing line I've used for salt water. I also planted one each of them in a 30-some peat pot greenhouse, one freebie outside by the house in a hole I dug and put organic potting soil in first, and am germinating 3 in a papertowel. They've been in the paper towel overnight and nothing yet. Also, nothing from the greenhouse. I also tried to germinate a couple using the water glass method and nothing, so I planted those after 24 hours in the greenhouse. Of all the methods, nothing has come up but the ones I mentioned in the 3rd line above. I'm sad. I've never had a problem planting weed and growing it outside just fine. Note: None of the AKs have come up so far in 4 days.
Here are the questions.

1. How do I strengthen the thin stems?

2. How would you suggest I germinate the last few seeds I have? I never intended to plant every one of them because I didn't want 20 plants. But it appears I may get one PPP (if I can keep it alive) and 2-4 unknowns. All the AK's are planted; none have come up. I have one PPP left and 3 free.

3. How do I transplant from these tiny seed pots in the germination kit to another pot? I'll photo those too and attach. If only 3 come up out of 10 pots that are connected together in a plastic deal, how do I get the 3 good ones out? Do I cut them out away one at a time from the plastic? That's dangerous to the other plants.

4. How big of a pot should I transplant them to?

5. Also, do I take them out of the starter soil they are in or try to scoop the whole slot out, soil and all, and transplant that? Someone said to take out of the soil they are in but I can't imagine trying to transplant these delicate seedlings without the soil attached.

This is getting long so I'll stop. Too much coffee this morning and a little stressed! Well, at about $5 a seed, this is on the verge of pissing me off!

Photos: the second photo is to show you the size of the germination kit/propagator pots compared to the size of a peat pot and the first photo is to show the difference in size of the free v. bought seeds. Do the ones in the kit look like they should be transplanted yet? The little light green seed is an AK. The pic marked Little PPP shows the dif between the PPP and a freebie, the smallest being the PPP.

Also, when did you plant yours? You said you are 5 days into flowering and I thought you had just planted them and were just getting them to come up.

I’ve used Nirvana 4 times and find them very hit or miss on seed quality and delivery. Sound like you got a bad pack of seeds, I just had the same problem with their Chrystal strain, very small light colored seeds, 3/5 germinated, the 3 seedling were very small and died within 24 hrs. Nirvana has not replied to my mail, sent 4 days ago. I’m not using them again. There customers deserve better consistency on quality, delivery, and service.
