RIU, Please choose my next Strain!

Is there a strain that you've really wanted to grow but haven't gotten around to it yet? Would you like to follow a grow journal from an experienced grower growing your favorite strain?

Well, I'm looking to start vegging my next batch. My current ladies are 21 days into flowering. I need to get my next batch of seeds ordered so I can get them vegging. I have decided to end my current White Widow run that I've been doing perpetually because I've just plain smoked too much of it already. 25-30 oz's of the same bud is just too much for me.

I will be taking either A) The first 20 suggestions or B) All suggestions in the next 24 hours on strains (if 20 is reached I'll start a poll). So please, just list them out. I will do a first elimination of 1/2 of the candidates myself to sort of "Veto" the strains I just don't want to grow.

After that it will come down to the RIU forum members using polls to determine the winner. It will be completed in elimination fashion, meaning you'll vote and the bottom 1/2 will be eliminated. Then vote again and the top 3 will remain. One last vote for the absolute winner and the strain that I will be growing next and ordering immediately.

Help me out RIU and see it grow!

Dairy Queen by TGA ( subcool). It's so tasty, Mmmmmm taste like cherries and cheese, but also is an excellent long lasting high. I believe it is Cheese crossed with C-99. My friend harvested some a little over a month ago and it was truely spectacular.

Please post your reasoning if you could. Even if it's just "I want to see it", or "I have seen it, and it's fucking great".

I think I'll enjoy having an RIU choice grow. Should be fun and it will be underway almost immediately (As long as it takes to get the seeds here).

But seriously, would love to see the black from VISC or blue Hawaiian from HGS, the black because I heard it that while the yield was junk that the smoke was 1st rate and I want to see blue Hawaiian because she is a new strain from HGS and I have not yet grown her.

A request was made for a side by side grow of Dr. Greenthumb's OG Kush or Bubba Kush vs. OG Kush and Bubba Kush clones from the local SoCal Dispensary. This is another possibility and will simply be listed as OG v OG or Bubba v Bubba.

Obviously the idea would be to see how clones the pheno's are, and how they perform relative to each other.

I may hold out on this idea until I can get another tent and light setup. I would really love to do side by side with 2x 600w lights in 2 seperate 4x4 tents for a real comparison. That's a consideration right now, but I'm not 100% on it. Winter is here and I think I can keep it cool enough so I may do that.

I have also recieved a request to sumbit The Void by TGA Subcool. I don't know a whole lot about it, but it's in the hopper.

Soma's NYC Diesel, attitude carries it for fairly inexpensive. Great Body lock, with a nice head rush. I would recommend it for its uniqueness in smell/taste compared to any other strain Ive encountered. Although its said to have a powerfull odor in the grow room, i did not experience that to be the case, I've grown bag seed that smelled skunkier. Flowered fast, good producer, and had long main cola solid covered in bud. I've always wanted to try ak-47 though

I have never grown it but I have smoked it. I know it takes a long time to finish but well worth it.

i'd love to see someone try Canna BioGen Destroyer. other strains: C99, Soma A+ (this weed has a 5% CBD value, crazy!), my bff Purple Kush, Trainwreck, or the infamous Jack's Cleaner.

I wish i was a sativa grower, but indica and indica heavy hybrids are so much easier for me indoors. even the sativa dominant trainwreck i'm growing is a bit too stretchy if I'm not careful. been thinking about santa cruz haze, looking for that.

santa cruz haze is a vital part of dj shorts blue dreams so i'd like 2 try it on its own... SC kush, hmmmmmm sounds interesting.

If you are a indica fan, then you got to grow out some Herijuana. Arguably the most potent indica out there.

I tried to only list people first choice. I'm not really sure if there were repeaters, but we are off to a great start. If you really want to see one of the ones you suggested just post it again alone in it's own post and I'll count it.

I'm the kind of guy that will go on a mission to find something to an extent, but not RIDICULOUS lengths. I'll spend a few days looking in zillions of dispensaries for strains though and/or travel throughout the state to find what I'm looking for.
