    Seedlings bleaching

I don't ussually use nutes in the first two weeks and never had a problem. The algae killer is specific for that (it's made for hydroponic cannabis), a friend uses it and never had issues. I use 250vol (65% aprox. concentration) peroxide at 1ml per quart per week, again, not much. I did have an...

    Seedlings bleaching

I also use a heavy duty aquarium aireator (almost overkill but that's not an issue) and keep water level about 3cm below pot bottom. I add hydrogen peroxide and an algae killer to the solution too.

    Seedlings bleaching

Hello. Recenlty I set up a small RDWC system with some autos, and this keeps happening. I'm running plain water, no nutes, pH and ppm seem acceptable, it's spring over here so temps should be OK too. Maybe light excess? It's a 4x4 foot tent with two 300w COB panels, pink light. Ventilation is...

Biggest yield to date/ what’s the wet vs dry weight conversion

I did once to compare many curing techniques at once. Took four colas off the same plant and used different ones in each: water cured, hanged a whole branch, paper bagged, trimmed and hanged in nets. Otherwise I don't see why bother.

    Club 315w lec

That's how it is where I live, LECs are very overpriced. Switching to full LEC (same wattage) is not an option in my foreseeable future. But maybe I'll replace one at a time.

    Club 315w lec

LECs are kind of a new thing where I live, not much options and they're heavily overpriced. A 315w with the ballast and hood costs maybe an average monthly salary, like four times the price of a 600w HPS kit. The 945w one I saw costed oddly about the same as an average 315w kit, this one:

    Club 315w lec

About 2,5 meters I think. I grow in a 3x3m room. Also I have AC and a pretty good extraction system, no issues with temperature.

    Club 315w lec

I'm considering a switch to LEC for my next grow. Currently I have two 600w HPS and four 200w COBs in a 4m² area. Wich should be better, to keep the two HPS and replace each COB with a 150w LEC (or two 315) or to replace everything with two 945w LECs and grow in a 3x1.5m area?

    Is Mainlining worth it?

Yes, same situation here, I don't even look at yield per plant or per grow, but rather yearly yield, and try to balance things out to get the best results. That's why I don't ussually grow pure sativas, too long flowering time, too much stretch. Instead I like hybrids or sativas with short...

    Is Mainlining worth it?

I'm not saying mainlining does not work, it's just that I've gotten same or better results with other, less complicated methods. The time I did it I was running RDWC so veg was pretty fast, but still the mainlined ones lagged a lot compared to the other, just LST'd ones. As I said, in my...

    Is Mainlining worth it?

Uncle Ben's 4 colas method with a tomato cage is the way to go, I tried both with all other aspects being equal. Mainlining takes too long to veg, I guess it's fine in an outdoor grow where plant growth is mostly limited by pot size. Sure the stems look cool but in my case that I grow like, 16...

    Opinions for RDWC system.

Then I'll definitely redo the electric installation, so I can plug an AC. Thanks for the replies, when it's all nice and done I'll post a thread with some photos. Have a nice holiday ⭐

    Opinions for RDWC system.

Thanks for the math. I've been growing for years but always outdoors, this would be my second grow indoors, last one was average. I read a lot on lights and coverage but information is so contradictory, especially about leds. Then I'll get another sodium before going into flower, that should be...

    Opinions for RDWC system.

Yeah maybe do one grow and see how it goes, then get another sodium. I should also change the electric installation so it handles more amps.

    Opinions for RDWC system.

Hi, I'm building a new RDWC system and I wonder if I'm setting it up right: •16 pots, ~4 gallons each in 4 rows + reservoir (Total NS volume around 50gal). •Canopy area is ~43 ft^2 (6,5x6,5 feet). •Lighting is 4x BESTVA 1000w (~200w real wattage) led panels plus a 600w HPS for flowering...

    Hello everyone

After years of lurking this site I decided to get an account. I've been growing for many years so, hope I can be of help too. Merry Christmas ⭐
