I was watching a video today on youtube's Future Cannabis Project channel and there was a guy explaining soil horizons in raised beds and pots. It seems pretty interesting and sounds like it could perform like a SIP because of the wicking action it provides. Has anyone messed with this idea...

Yes they are self priming, so put a feed tube into a bucket and you can get everything out, even more than a submersible pump...

Or better yet, put the feed tube into the bottom of the res. I believe these are self priming pumps but I could be wrong (please double check).

Put the bulkhead on the bottom of the reservoir, then you can get just as much as a submersible pump out of the res.

I'm not an electrician but I have done a few remodels, your logic makes since to me. Lets say you buy that 150amp panel then find yourself needing more electricity, the cost is compounded significantly. Instead oversize your box and make it capable of more amps and if you only want 150amp...
